SUMMER FUN!!!

Summer Faith, Fun and Fitness
June 21, 2011 we are kicking off Summer Faith, Fun and Fitness.  Too many times summer comes and goes and we do not do the things we wanted to.  We don’t loose the weight, we don’t spend more time with our families, and we don’t do the activities we looked forward to all winter.  This summer let’s have the summer we desired last winter!

FAITH     With faith as our cornerstone all things are manageable!
Philippians 4:13 “ I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

FUN         Jesus came that we may have and enjoy our life and have it in abundance!
John 10:10 “I have come that they may have life and have it more abundantly.”

FITNESS  Our body is His temple, there are many fun ways to be fit in the summer!
1 Corinthians 6:19 “Or do you not know that your body is the temple?”

Each week we will focus on one of these three themes.  You will receive and email Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings.  Please respond with your ideas on how you live your best life through Christ.

There will be one summer wellness activity a month on the last Wednesday of each month.

The first activity is canoeing Wednesday June 29th.

Please sign up by emailing Kimberly or calling.

  1. Rod and I are planning a trip to California to visit some friends and do
some fun things with them. We are planning a tour of Napa and some
wineries, a hot air balloon ride and a stay at an historic inn. Then some
private time together to see some things we are interested in - some of the
missions in that area, the redwoods and at least one of the National Parks
    in that area.

We have found that if we just think and talk about doing things and going
places they don't happen. We have to make them goals. Goals are dreams
with deadlines. If you remember the movie "The Bucket List", that is kind
of the premise we have, except we keep adding to the list as we cross
    things off.
