The Daniel Challenge day twelve

The Daniel Challenge Day twelve
“The time of end” is how my Study Bible introduces this chapter.  It is the final chapter in the book of Daniel.  In this chapter, he prophesizes about the end times.  Some shall arise to everlasting life and some to everlasting contempt.  Through Jesus Christ we can arise.  This chapter gives me encouragement to be part of the saved and not the dammed.

The most important things we do here on earth, are for Him.  One of the gifts we have received is our physical body.  If we take care ourselves and love ourselves we are more able to do His work.

How did you do on the Daniel Challenge?
Did you read Daniel daily?
Did you eat more fruits and veggies?
Did you drink more water?

I know that my body is a gift from God. Yet, I can ignore my knowledge and consume five cookies in a day and possibly some ice cream too, even though I am trying to be on the Daniel Challenge.  I know for me it is a continued process.  It is a continued commitment to live a holy, healthy, happy life everyday for His honor. Through His mercy and Grace we have eternal honor.

Daniel 12:2 “And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life and some to shame and everlasting contempt.”

Keep on Keeping on!!

Be fit and be blessed,

Kimberly

  1. Daniel Challenge: I read Daniel in 8 days instead of 12. I missed 4 somewhere in the middle and so I had to play catch up. I found it exciting to read and each chapter was a blessing to me. In Chpt 12 the part about the ones who bring others to righteousness will be like stars really motivates me.

Veggies and Fruit: the challenge helped me get back to counting my servings and making sure I planned them into my day. I wasn't perfect, but much better than I had been the previous month.

Water: I did ok with water, I could have been better. I really need to measure out my water in the morning.

I'm glad I took the challenge. I'm realizing more and more that all of this will always be harder than I want it to be, but worth it.
