Healthy and Well (soul4)
Sometimes, things in our lives are so profound that we
cannot see past the immediate hurt or pain.
At these times especially, we need to fill with the love and promises of
God.
How do get
filled? God rarely speaks in an audible
voice.
Joke: Why is it that…When God talks to us its called
schizophrenia and when we talk to God its called Prayer. ?
God speaks through His word, the Bible. He settles our souls through His word and our
prayers.
Situations in this world are really not any different then
they were in Biblical times. Sure we
have technology and the world looks different, but the sin that plagues us
today, is the same as it was 2000 plus years ago. What was truth then is still the truth now.
Keep your soul full; Read His word and pray and trust.
In Luke 18 Jesus told a parable about an unjust judge who
avenged a widow because of her continual request. Ask God in prayer, He is here for us.
Luke 18:7-8 “And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day
and night to Him, though He bears long with them?
8 “I
tell you that He will avenge them speedily.
Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on
earth?
