Fit Bit (Sing)

Fit Bit (Sing)
Good Morning!!

This morning is a bit different for me and I hope it will be for you too.  I woke up as usual, focusing my attention on God, His word and quiet time.  I have been wrestling with a few family struggles, like most of us.  I take much comfort in starting my morning trusting God.  This morning the Word, actually asked me to SING!  Ok, trusting God, waiting patiently, living in thanksgiving, I get that.  NOW I am to sing??
At first I thought, Ok, I’ll turn on the Prayz Network and sign along, and then instead I just started singing, by my Bible, with my coffee and probably not in tune. (God only asks us to make a joyful noiseJ)  It was amazing.  It was fun and I felt a wonderful joy.  Please try it!!  The Holy Spirit gave me the lyrics, no one except our Lord and my pets could hear me.  It was a great experience.  Today, no matter what issues you face, try to sing!  Sing with gratefulness and joy.  I am so thankful, that today even though I didn’t “feel” like it, I could sing.

Jeremiah 31: 7 “For thus saith the LORD; “Sing with gladness for Jacob,”

Jeremiah 31:12  “Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion,”

Psalm 32: 7 “Though art my hiding place; though shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance.  Se’lah.”

Psalm 32:11  “Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous:  and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.”

Be fit and be blessed,

Kimberly

  1. There is a classic rock and roll song that puts me in the mood to give praise to God.
I like to sing out these words written by R.E.M., “It’s the End of the World as We Know it….and I feel fine!”
The prophecy in the Book of Revelation of Jesus Christ seems to suggest that a nuclear war may happen before the promised peace comes to the earth.
Please let us not forget that peace is promised.
Isaiah 9:6-7 “For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace, On the throne of David and over his kingdom, To establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness From then on and forevermore. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will accomplish this.…”
If a war does precede peace on earth, take comfort in the words of Joseph
Genesis 50:20 "As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to bring about this present result, to preserve many people alive.”
A better translation from the Greek word “eon” would be “age.” So, even though I sing out, “It’s the end of the world…” I am thinking “It’s the end of the age” and I feel fine because in the age of peace, …

Isaiah 2:4 “… He will judge between the nations, And will render decisions for many peoples; And they will hammer their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, And never again will they learn war.”
