Fit Bit (Gossip)

Fit Bit (Gossip)
I consider my self a Christian woman.  I wish I would always act like it.  Recently, I was upset with someone close to me.  People close to us can upset us.  I didn’t have the guts to just address it with her.  I felt I needed to vent it, so I did.  I didn’t vent it to Jesus and to her; I vented it to another person.  That is gossip.  WOW!  In the middle of my behavior I didn’t realize that I was being a gossip.  But when the person I talked about found out about what I had said, yes it was gossip.  I wish as a Christian woman I wouldn’t behave as poorly as I do sometimes.  I am better then I used to be but I have such a long way to go.  Ruth Graham (Billy Grahams’ wife) on her tombstone had written, “ End of construction, thanks for your patience”.  I want to be a good example to those around me.  Yet, here I am a fallen humane with many areas of construction left.  I pray that I can keep improving and that the people I offend in this world can find forgiveness for me during my construction.

In the Bible it tells us that if we are angry or have an issue with someone we should take it directly to him or her.  If they do not listen then we bring another person with us.  If they still don’t listen then we take it to the church elders.  Most of my issues with people won’t involve taking it to the church elders but I hope I can find the guts to at least take my issues to the person I am irritated with before I go and tell others.

I hope this little Fit Bit helps you remember healthy relationships require healthy discussions about difficult topics.  We can do all things through Jesus Christ whom strengthens us. May you be inspired to find the courage to talk about difficult issues so you’re not tempted to gossip.

Be fit and be blessed,

Kimberly

May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Fit Bit ( Infinitely Big, Infinitely Intimate)

Fit Bit
(Infinitely Big, Infinitely intimate!)
Good Morning,

This morning I was reading Psalm 46.  46:10 “Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.”

It used to be so much easier for me to think of God as Infinitely big, putting the stars in the sky and controlling the wind.  Yet where my comfort truly lies in that HE is infinitely intimate.  He knows every thought in my head and loves me anyway.  He knows every worry and every desire and He will and does provide according to His infinite knowledge.  He is so much greater then I can even imagine.  There is nothing He does not know.  There is no prayer He does not hear.  He is infinity intimate.  Infinity goes both ways, big and small.  TRUST, there is nothing that gets past God.  I hope this reminder helps you to remember God is with you right this moment in all you are going through and He truly cares and loves you.  His arm is not too short He is God.

Peace in God is the cornerstone of all health and wellness.

Be fit and be blessed,

Kimberly

Fit Bit ( Overwhelmed by the Lord not Life)

Fit Bit (Overwhelmed by the Lord, not by life)
This morning while I was praying and reading my Bible I had a revelation wanted to share with you.
1.     God is in charge of my day.
2.     I am in charge of managing my time and responsibilities.
3.     My responsibilities and time are not in charge of me.

This may seem like common sense, but common sense is not always common practice.

Many days I wake up and “feel” like I have too much to get done and not enough time.  I can “feel “overwhelmed, in a bad way.  Today I remembered, my schedule is my schedule.  I can plan my day and do my best and TRUST GOD to handle the rest!!
After all, what ever I do not get done, will wait for me:).

Today, be inspired to take charge of your time don’t let your time take charge of you!!  Get your energy to do this by remembering its all Gods time anyway.

Be OVERWHELMED, by His power, mercy and grace!! Be overwhelmed in a good way!!

Colossians 3:23  “and whatsoever ye do, do it heartedly, as to the Lord and not unto man”

 Be fit and be blessed,

Kimberly

FIT BIT (Give Praise)

Fit Bit (Give Praise!)
Alleluia, Alleluia, give thanks to the risen Lord.
Alleluia, Alleluia, give praise to His name!

This is the Hymn that keeps going through my head this morning.  I am thankful for it.  I can fall into grumbling and complaining and not even realize I am there.  Having a praise and worship song be prevalent in my head is a blessing!  There is an old saying, “garbage in garbage out”.  We can all get caught up in garbage.  Screen time is all consuming in our culture and most of it is garbage.  I try to intentionally set my mind on good things and leave the garbage out.  One of the best ways for me to do this is to focus on giving thanks and praise.  I try to look at what is right.  I do this in my children, friends, co-workers and most things.  I try to be His Son’s Shine.  It is easier for me to SHINE when I start off in praise.

Today be inspired to look at what is right and give thanks and praise.  You will be amazed at how much this can improve your health and wellness.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18  Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”

Be fit and be blessed,

Kimberly

Personally I like to listen to the Prayz Netwok, they really help me have good songs and messages running through my head.
