One of my son's said that we should only eat "bad" food - meaning vegetables. Isn't it interesting that what is good has become known as bad. It is just like man to flip things around. One of my daughters thought it was interesting that the version we were reading (NASB) used the word fat to describe the men after the 10 days. In our eyes that could be considered negative. Well that led to a discussion on the chief counselors concern that the men would appear haggard, but instead they appeared fat. Since I associate haggard with the appearance of the face, I explained to the kids that our faces lots of times show how we are feeling on the inside. So a fat face would show more health than a haggard face. I'm not sure how my face appears to others but I have noticed that the skin on my face feels healthier when I'm eating my vegetables. It was a good discussion and I look forward to Daniel 2.faithcenteredfitnessbloghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00472051930173946865noreply@blogger.com
