Fit Bit (We can Do it!)
Yesterday at Bible study, the question was posed, “How do we
inspire the church to pray for the church?
This question seemed to stump our small group. Then we realized, “we are the church!” The new question became, “How do we inspire
each other to pray?”.
Sometimes when we study the “WORD”, we can forget it is for
our every moment. The amazingness of the
Bible is that is it applicable hear and now, in all we think, say and do.
When I live in the peace of God, my life is better. I receive the peace of God by trusting in the
grace, mercy and forgiveness given through the work of Jesus Christ, on the
cross for each of us. I remember to live
in His peace by, reading the Bible as if it were food to nurture my body. It is the food I need to nurture my
soul. I also remember to live in peace
by fellowshipping with other beautiful Christian women. We are called to fellowship with each other
and inspire each other through prayer and good speaking.
The other day, my dear friend and I went for a walk, after
about a half hour; we realized we had been complaining about our struggles for
the entire time. We STOPPED and turned
our focus to what we are thankful for.
We decided when we get together; we will start our walks with
thanksgiving. We are the church. If, as the church, we gossip and complain,
what good is our ministry??
WE CAN DO IT!! Be
inspired to live in Christian fellowship.
Pray for each other and build each other up. Remind each other Jesus is with us, loving
each of us intimately, all the time.
That is the basis for healthy relationships. That is the basis for a healthy church.
Ecclesiastes 4:12
“And if one prevails against him two shall with stand him and a
threefold cord is not quickly broken.”
Mathew 28:20 “Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have
commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the world. Amen.”
Be fit and be blessed,
