Fit Bit ( Willful sins?)

This Spring, I got caught up in a desire to “willful sin”.  I thought as a mature Christian woman I was beyond that.   Since then I have heard a couple sermons on when you think you are not capable of a particular sin, you are.   That is when my pride gets big, when I think I’m above a certain behavior.   I have been a fitness person, for a long time.   I really love to eat a healthy diet and get great exercise.  When I am prideful;  I can think, I would never…..but when I do, before I know it I am doing what I thought I would never.

Psalm 19:13 Keep your servant also from willful sins; may they not rule over me.  Then will I be blameless, innocent of great transgression.”

Willful sins start with intentionally deciding to compromise this or that.   Too much walking in the wrong direction leads to great transgressions.

Gluttony and slothfulness are sinful,  willful sins can be so very many things.   Today be inspired to think and do what the Bible tells too.  I find that when I focus on the Lord in my daily life.  I get disciple in the little sins.   This helps me from boldly going in the wrong direction.   So, if you are getting a disciple, try to remember that is God’s way of keeping you from great transgressions.  Instead of thinking on what you don’t want to do…think on what you do want to do…. Think upon the Lord.

Psalm 19;14. “May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing, in your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my redeemer.”

Be fit and be blessed,

Kimberly
