Fit Bit; Press On
Psalm 119; 133 “ Direct my footsteps according to your
word;
Let no sin rule over
me.”
This morning as I was reading His word, this verse grabbed
me!
Does it grab you?
I have spent much of my life being a slave to sin. It seems to grab me and not let me go, I will
wake up in the morning and profess my freedom from what ever is my current
temptation, and by noon I find myself giving into the very thing I WAS EARLIER
COMMITED TO GIVING UP.
That is my problem; I try to do it Kimberly’s way. My way never gives me the perfect path. God’s way does. If I get in His word early in my day and
meditate on it throughout my day, I find the strength and determination to stay
the course better. I may still fall, but
when I fall I do not feel conquered, I simply realize my flesh failed. God still loves me, I am forgiven and I can
PRESS ON. My righteousness comes from
what Jesus did from me (and for you) on the Cross- not from my ability to be
righteous.
Psalm 119:133
”Direct my footsteps according to your word;
Let no sin rule over me!
Be fit and be blessed,
Kimberly
