Fit Bit (Hydrate)
People often mistake thirst for hunger. This problem is major contributor to people
being over weight. If you find yourself
reaching for a snack, and you realize you just ate an hour or two before, STOP,
take a drink of water, wait ten minutes and then if you still feel you need
that snack, eat it. This will help you
not mistake your thirst for hunger and help you manage your weight.
Water is the best choice to help you quench your
thirst. The average person needs to
drink 64 ounces of water a day. Water,
not coffee, tea, diet soda, Gatorade or alcohol is the best choice to
hydrate. Most of us do not need the
extra calories associated with the other choices anyway.
The most important water you can drink is His living
water. Jesus quenches a thirst in us for
a lifetime. Through Him, we have the
disciple to drink the H2O.
Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living
water will flow from within them.”
Be fit and be blessed,
Kimberly
