Old Testament Reading; Numbers 9:15-11:3
Fire from the Lord;
11:1-3 “Now the
people complained about their hardships in the hearing of the Lord, and when He
heard them His anger aroused, Then fire from the Lord burned among them and
consumed some of the outskirts of the camp.
2When the people cried out to Moses, he prayed to the Lord and the fire
died down. 3So that place was called
Taberah, because fire from the Lord had burned among them.”
Kimberly’s thoughts’; it is so easy to see what is wrong and
complain verses concentrating on what is right and be thankful.
New Testament Reading; Luke 3:1-22
John the Baptist prepares the way for Jesus/ Jesus was
baptized too;
3;21”When all the people were being baptized, Jesus
was baptized too. And as He was praying,
Heaven was opened 22and the Holy Spirit descended on Him in bodily form like a
dove, And a voice came from Heaven:
“You are my
Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased.””
Kimberly’s thoughts; I am so very thankful for baptism. I am thankful I can be repentant and
forgiven. Without the Holy Spirit, I
would be lost.
Psalm 35:19-28
19:28”My tongue will speak of your righteousness and
of your praises all day long.”
