Fit Bit (Sometimes His answer is no)
I was recently with my step Father as he was on his way
home, to our Lord. During this time
frame many parts of the process were very difficult. I told my Dad#2 that when he feels anxious,
simply pray and trust God. He said, “I
tried that and it doesn’t work.”
Have you ever felt that way?
Feeling as if your prayers were falling on deaf ears?
Sometimes His answer is no.
I have run into people, I used to date and thought to my
self, thank you God for having that end.
Yet, at the time of the break up I was begging God to fix it for me.
God hears the prayers of a righteous person. We are all righteous if we are praying
through Jesus name. Without Jesus our
prayers don’t reach God. It’s kind of
like trying to make a cell phone call without a cellular provider.
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him,
“I am the way, the truth and the life; no man cometh unto the Father, but buy
me.”
Therefore confess your sins to
each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a
righteous person is powerful and effective.
So, if you are felling that your prayers are falling on deaf
ears;
1st make
sure you are coming to God through Jesus holiness, not your own.
2ndmaybe
He has greater plans for you, trust Him.
Romans 8:28 “And
we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them
who are the called according to His purpose.”
Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the thoughts I think toward
you, saith the Lord, thought of peace and not of evil, to give you an expected
end.”
Be fit and be blessed,
Kimberly
