Proverbs 26:5 “Do not answer a fool according to his folly, or you will be like him yourself.”
Yesterday I played Pickle ball with a kindergarten teacher. I remembered the book,”Everything I needed to learn, I learned on Kindergarten. When my boys were in kindergarten the teacher had a sign up, it read “How to pick friends”. It went on to explain what a good friend is verses a bad friend. A good friend has qualities such as honesty, kindness, generosity, sharing, and good citizenship bad friend has qualities and selfish, gossipy, lying …. This made me think of people I let into my life. I tend to mimic the people I hold close to me Therefore it’s extremely important that I chose those people wisely or I will go down into the pit with them. Sometimes I befriend people that I want to help raise up, but more often than not if I let an ungodly person close to my heart I deteriorate verses Me bringing them up. Proverbs 26:4 “Do not answer a fool according to his folly, or you will be like him yourself.” I do think we are to befriend and love many types of people, but we need to be careful whom we let influence us. I hope this helps you today, Be a good friend and be careful in the choosing of your closest friends. 😇🙏❤️
