Out of abundance

Mark 10:45 "For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many."   These are the words of Jesus.   In AA we are called to serve others, service work is good for our souls.   When I intentionally serve someone else, I serve out of abundance in my life.  I focus on my abundance and sincerely want to share.    When I want to get something from someone else, I am focusing on the lack in my life.    Today be inspired to share out of your abundance!!!    Thanks you Lord for equipping each of us to do every good thing!!!😇🙏❤️🌸💃

Alone?

Alone?   Sometimes, I can fell a bit alone.  Psalm 139:17 "How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them!  18 Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand. When I awake, I am still with you."

Can you imagine this?  His thoughts toward each of us, out number the grains of sand.  

We are each that special to God.  God thinks of us always.  Wow!!   Hard to comprehend that we each matter that much to God.   But we do!!! Enjoy fellowship with Him today.   He is truly thinking of you!😇❤️🌸

Love with a pure heart

Genesis 2:18 "The Lord God said, " It is not good for the man to be alone, I will make him a helper suitable for him.""   My son married his beautiful bride last weekend.  They are a great example of helping each other be better people.   They compliment each other.   It's a beautiful thing to watch two people become one and be better together.  Jesus is the glue that helps two become one. Jesus said we are to love each other as He loves us.   He loves us with complete acceptance and forgiveness every moment of everyday no matter what.   People are full of flaws and we constantly do the wrong things.  Love each other even when you don’t “feel” like it.  Love each other by helping each other.  Today be inspired to love with a pure heart.   😇🙏❤️🌸🦅 Give without expecting anything in return.

Independence starts with Dependance

John 8:36 "So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed."   Happy Independence Day!! Independence comes from dependence on Jesus.  Let Christ be your strength and your song today and always  so you are not tossed like a wave but are solid in your walk.    I was freed from my addiction to alcohol when I became dependent on Jesus.   I have Him to give my cares to so I don't have to drowns them out in a bottle.    My independence from alcohol is because of my dependence on Jesus.   Let Him be your ROCK today and always so you can soar like and Eagle 🦅!!😇🙏❤️🌸

Believe

James 2:23 "And the scripture was fulfilled that says, " Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness," and he was called God's friend."   Abraham believed God!!   Faith without doubt is believing God.  If I believe God loves me and the ones I love.  Which is what He says in His word.   Then, I need to fear not.   I simply need to believe!! Our founding Fathers believed!! Praise the Lord!!!   He is the rewarded of those who diligently seek Him.    Happy Forth of July week made possible by some very courageous believing people!!   

Power of prayer. Pray in faith!!

 James 1:5-8 "If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.  6 But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.  7 That a man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord; 8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all he does."    Sometimes I’m this double minded man.  I pray and trust God with something and then I go back to doing what I can to get my way.   I pray but then I try to fix it.   Sometimes I don’t even pray because I feel like Gods not going to do it anyways.    Wow.   It’s a sad sad thing to be a faith based lady knowing I have this depravity in my heart.    Today, I will try harder to TRUST God.  I will try hard to remember HE KNOWS and He loves me and the ones I pray for more than I do.  I will try to Truly give all my anxiety to the Lord.   God has has some amazing answers to many of my prayers.   But a few He in His infinite wisdom has answered in a way I can’t understand.   I pray today we each can be single minded trusting God here’s and answers our prayers in His way and His timing for His great good.”

Thanks everyone for all your prayers for my Isabelle.  I was thankful she made it tell I returned home from my dads , I did believe she would.  I prayed in faith and knew you were praying too so I had confidence.   I know God doesn’t always do this.   But today my little pup is walking, pooping, eating and drinking.  She is seemingly healthy for an old dog.   I was thinking about how good she is doing and remembered how many had prayed for her.   Thank you all I get some more “good” time with my beautiful dog.

When uou pointing finger four point back at you

John 3:19 "This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil."     When I read  John 3 today I'm pondering why I don't spread His good news every where I go.  Am I'm clutching the dark and not the light?  If I believe what I say I believe, wouldn't I do everything I can to keep others and myself from the grip of darkness?    Sin is a deceiving thing.   You just open the door a little and compromise takes over.    We each have sins that we struggle with.  We can convince ourselves, our sin isn’t really a bad sin and point fingers to others we think sin worse.   When we point A finger four fingers are pointing back at us.  Today may you love the light and flee from the sin that so easily ensnares you. 😇🙏❤️🌸 Avoid justifying your sin, pretending it’s not as bad as someone else’s.  All sin temps us away from God
