Healthy and Well (week three)
Good Morning,
I hope you had a great weekend. How are you doing? This is the least response I have ever had from any of my programs. So I am genuinely wondering how many are still with me here. Please give us an update on your status.
The first week we concentrated on loving God, trusting Him, spending time with Him daily, reading His word. By doing this we have the ROCK we need for our health and wellness.
The second week we concentrated on getting enough sleep. If we are sleep deprived we are more likely to over eat and feel overwhelmed.
This week our focus is “CASTING OUR CARES FOR HE CARES FOR US”. Rest in our stress.
Even when we love God and get enough sleep life still happens. We all have things, steel our joy. What do you do when life gets tuff? (Please share …let us know what you do now and if you prefer to do something different.) This week we want to focus on being able to cast our cares. If we perseverate on a thought it expands. Be able to recognize a toxic thought and give it to GOD immediately!!
“Be not afraid” God uses this statement over and over again in the Bible. Fear is paralyzing. It is a toxic thought. (1 Peter 3:14)
1 Peter 5:7 “Casting all your cares upon Him; for he careth for you.” KJV
How are you doing on your chart? It is difficult to discipline and check off charts. Keeping a chart is a helpful accountability tool. This week try to at least look over the Family Fitness Quest chart daily. Fit it in when you spend your daily time alone with God. This act will at least remind you to keep your life in BALANCE.
Be fit and be blessed,
Kimberly
