Old testament Genesis 47; 13-48; 22
Jacob blessed Joseph’s boys, but opposite of their birth
order. Joseph tried to correct his
father, but his father said, he knew what he was doing and although both
brothers would be great rulers the younger will be greater. Life Lesson; Sometimes tradition is broken
and it is meant to be. Birth order, is
not a given for blessing.
New Testament. Mathew
16; 21- 17; 13
25”For whoever wants to
save his life, will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it.”
Life lesson; when we try hard to hold on to the things of
this world we become empty and end. When
we seek first the kingdom of God we become filled and overflowing with life.
Proverbs 3:1-10 7 “Do not be wise in your own eyes;
fear the LORD and shun evil. 8This will
bring health to you body and nourishment to your bones.”
