Fit Bit (Responsibility)
Lord, help me be a good steward of the many gifts you have
given me.
Recently, I have had the opportunity to work with a woman
suffering Depression. I am her Christian
Life Coach. My job is to help her
remember who she is in Christ and motivate her to act like it. Sounds simple right?
There is an old saying, “Common sense isn’t always common
practice.”
We are all given gifts from our Lord; it is our
responsibility to use these gifts for His glory. When we are doing this we “feel” full of His
life. When we squash our talents and
believe the lies of Satan (such as, “Your not good enough. You can’t do that anyway. Why try again?) We lose our purpose and feel hopeless. Good thing it’s not our feelings that
determine who we are! It is the blood of
Jesus Christ that has determined our destiny!!
I have heard it said, “feeling are fickle, you go to bed feeling one way
and wake up feeling an other, eat chocolate and feel this, eat veggies and feel
that. It is our responsibility to take
charge of our lives regardless of our feelings.
Through the Grace of God, we are conquerors in Jesus. So, next time you “feel”, you just can’t
possibly resist the second helping, lack the desire to move or be motivated to
use your God given talents. Remember,
God made you on purpose for His purpose, your life is not your own, you have
been bought with a price. Walk in your
purpose, you will “feel “ better and find the motivation to “keep on keeping on”,
through the energizing gift of His Holy Spirit!!
Be fit and be blessed,
Kimberly

You are not your own;”

you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it. “
