Fit Bit (Strength)
My Strength and salvation are from God.
Yesterday I was able to bicycle with some friends. We rode about 100 miles. I was strong.
It is amazing to me how God has made my feet run like a deer (so to
speak). I am so very thankful. I work hard physically to be in shape. I do this because I love it and I like being
physically capable to do the things I like such as water skiing, bicycling and
taking longs walks with my dogs. My
physical strength comes from disciplining myself to work. My Spiritual Strength (which is far more
important) also comes from discipline.
Discipline, Grace and the simple gift of the Holy Spirit give me the
Spiritual strength to really be strong.
Life is full of things that need us to be physically and Spiritually
strong. It is most important to be
strong in the Lord. He is our ever
-present strength. In order for me to
remember He is my ever-present strength I need to stay in his word daily,
fellowship with other Christians and pray continually. How do you stay strong?
Be fit and be blessed,
Kimberly
1 Timothy 4:8
“For
physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things,
holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.”
“The Sovereign Lord is my strength; he
makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to tread on the heights.
For the director of music. On my stringed instruments.”
Psalm 29:11
“The Lord gives strength to his people;
the
Lord blesses his people with peace.”
