Jeremiah 17:5 “This is what the Lord says: “Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who depends on flesh for his strength and whose heart turns away from the Lord. “……..7 “But blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord whose confidence is in Him.”
Dear Lord, let my full confidence be in you! Today is my last full day at the lake, this season. I have much to do and little time to do it. With my broken leg, I take a long time to do simple tasks. I am tempted to be anxious. I do have friends coming to help me this afternoon. I do trust, it’ll all be okay. It’s a change of season for me to head back to Wisconsin. I look forward to seeing my family and friends but I’m anxious too. I am going home a bit disabled and I won’t be able to pick up where I left off. These verses are helping me today. God has a bigger and better plan for me than I have for myself. I have to unwaveringly TRUST in that. When I trust in my own abilities, I am trusting in man. Today, to be healthy and well , I will be anxious for nothing and TRUST! God will make a way. His way will be the best way. I hope this helps you today too.
