Know, accept and embrace

 Proverbs 16:9 "In his heart a man plans his course, but the Lord determines his steps."   It is good to have a plan, it is even better to know, accept and embrace God's plan.   

If I perish then I perish

 Esther 4:16"......If I perish then I perish."   When Queen Esther was to save her people the Jews by going to King Xerxes she could have been killed.   Before she did this she and her prayer teams fasted and prayed for 3 days.   Do you have a mountain to face?  Be inspired to pray, fast and have others pray and fast for you then GO!!! And if you perish you perish!!   Courage and strength are ours in Christ Jesus!!! Be the person God created you to be!!! Don't compromise, THRIVE!!!

For such a time as this!

 Esther 4:14 "For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father's family will perish.  And who knows but that you have come to royal position for such a time as this?"

For such a time as this!!! You too are where God wants you for such a time as this!!! Be brave!!! Be courageous!!!!  Share your faith!! Be everything God has created you to be today!!! What are you waiting for?  Today is the day the Lord has made, let's rejoice and be glad in it!!  Let's live; "For such a time as this."

Be the best Christian you can be....TODAY!!!

Wise or foolish?

 Proverbs 13:20 "He who walks with the wise grows wise, but the companion of fools suffer harm."  ....14:1 "The wise woman builds her house, but with her own hands the foolish one tears it down."    Walk with the wise and grow wise!   Walk with fools and become foolish.   Be careful with the people occupying your inner circle.  When I quit drinking I needed to find sober friends.   Today, as I am trying to build my life in a God honoring  fashion, I have to intentionally pursue friendships that do the same.   It's so easy to fall into the snare of seeking the wrong things.   Just like a football team has to work together for a victory.   We need team mates in this life that help us be wise not foolish.  What relationships will you invest in today?

He can be trusted!!!

 Jeremiah 17:7. " But blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in Him. 8 He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream.  It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green.  It has no worries in a year of draught and never fails to bear fruit."    17:14 "Heal me Lord and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise."

I love these verses!! We can TRUST God in all things.   He is our ever present help in trouble.  Don't tell God you have a big problem.   Tell your problem you have a big God!   Gods got this no matter what it is!!  To be truly well TRUST HIM in it all today!!!🙏😇❤️

Godliness with contentment is great gain!!

 John 3:27 "To this John replied, "A man can receive only what is given him from Heaven."  Philippians 4:11 "I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances."   Godliness with contentment is great gain!!! God doesn't always give us what we think we want.   He does provide for our every need.    TRUST God has you where He wants you today.   Everything we have is a gift from Heaven, being satisfied and content in it all, is a pillar of health and wellness in Christ Jesus.   Are you content today?  TRUST GOD is working all things out for His glory and your good.   Be good in all things!!! Be healthy and well in Christ Jesus!! He loves you and the ones you love more than you can imagine!!!

Prejudice?

 Esther 3:4 "Day after day they spoke to him but he refused to comply.  Therefore  they told Hanna about it to see whether Mordecai's behavior would be tolerated, for he had told them he was a Jew."   Mordecai refused to kneel down and pay Haman honor.  Haman's response was to annihilate all Jews.    This is some serious  prejudice!!! have you allowed yourself to become prejudice for a full group of people because of one person?  Take sometime today to think about this.

We are not the exception

 Esther 4:13.  "he sent back this answer: “Do not think that because you are in the king’s house you alone of all the Jews will escape."   Do you ever think you are the exception?   That, somehow you can get away with a particular sin, because it's "not that bad" and after all ; "God understands ".   Don't fool yourself!! God loves each of us too much to let us keep walking in ways that will destroy us.   Just like a good father disciplines his child, so Our Heavenly Father corrects us.   If you know there is a place in your life that you have unrepentant sin, take heart!! Fast that sin. Before you have to face the discipline.   

Press forward

 Philippians 3:19 "Their destiny is destruction, their God is their stomach, their glory is in their shame. Their mind is on earthly things."   

Romans 6:21 "What benefit did you reap at the time from the things you are now ashamed of?"

In today's world we can chase things that we become ashamed of.    Things that were our glory is now our shame.  What earthly pulls do you need to give to God?

Be inspired to let go of, what doesn't fit your identity in Christ and press forward to the high calling of God!!

Wisdom, knowledge and understanding

 Proverbs 2:6 "For the Lord gives wisdom, and from His mouth comes knowledge and understanding."   Seek wisdom, knowledge and understanding.   Wisdom is applied knowledge.   Knowledge is knowing the word of God.   Understanding is a heart felt desire to apply God's word in our everyday life; because we Know in our hearts it will serve us well.    Let's try our best today, to Seek Him like Silver!!  Wisdom, knowledge and understanding are a natural byproduct of putting God front and center in our lives. 😇

Trust, wait, follow

 Proverbs 3:5 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your path straight."   

Today, trust God. Wait for Him.Follow his path.   You will know His peace!!

Cherish the GIVER

 John 3:27 “To this John replied, “A man can receive only what is given him from Heaven.”   

Everything and everyone we have is a gift from Heaven!   When I receive a gift from someone I love, I cherish that gift.    Remember WHO THE GIVER is today.   Cherish Him, everything and everyone He has given you.   This leads to true health and wellness.😇🙏❤️

Pride verse humility the tortoise versus the hair

 Proverbs 29:23 “A man’s pride brings him low, but a man of lowly spirit gains honor.”  I used to think of pride, only in a way that states; “Look at me!” Pride is also needing things to be; “My way”.   Lowly in Spirit doesn’t mean lowly.  Actually it can mean quite the opposite.  Often the lowly person,  is the quiet, constant, knowledgeable person in the room.  When I run in my pride, I end up working really hard and not getting anywhere.  When I walk in humility, trusting God’s way over mine.  I slowly get to where He is  leading me.  I compare this pride/humility, walk, with a tortoise and the hair.  Sometimes I’m the tortoise and sometimes I’m the hair.   Always better to walk humbly with our Lord than prideful in ourselves.  So easy to say, so hard to actually do.    Pslam 46:10 "Be still and know that I am God."   Are you beating your head against the wall in your pride? Turn it over!!   

The process of getting truly well

 Proverbs 28:13 “He who conceals his sins does not prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy.”  

Confess and renounce our sins verses concealing them.   In AA we say, our secrets keep us sick.  I know this full well.    I’m not advocating lay it all out there on social media.  I am suggesting that have a few good friends or a pastor that we can be honest with.  We each have Jesus with us always.  If, He is the only one you have, He is enough!!! Be honest with Him.  Have a truly repentant heart and move forward in forgiveness and fortitude.  This is a continual process to true health and wellness.   

Think well and be well

 Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brothers whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is praiseworthy-think about such things.”   Proverbs 23:7(NKJV) “As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.”   What will you think about today?   Worry? Fear? Anxiety?  Try thinking about what is right!  Think about what is right and be thankful for it.  Have a prayer of thanksgiving and keep turning from anxious thoughts to edifying ones.  God’s got you!! God’s got the ones you love!!! He works all things out, even the extremely difficult.    TRUST Him and think well today!!   Think well and be well!!!

True beauty

 Esther 1:11 “to bring before him Queen Vashti, wearing her royal crown, in order to display her beauty to the  people and the nobles, for she was lovely to look at.”  In the book of Esther King Xerxes commanded Queen Vashti to “show herself off”.  Was this respectful of Queen Vashti?  When we focus on showing off our physical beauty what does that say about how much we value our inner beauty?    How will you present yourself today?  How do you value others?

Carry it out to completion

 Philippians 1:6 “being confident of this, that He that began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”   He who began a good work in you will carry it through to completion!!!   Don’t weary in well doing.  He is with you!!   Do the work God has given you to do!!  

Attitude is altitude

 Philippians 4:14 “Do everything without complaining or arguing.”   Colossians 3:17 “And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.”   Do it all for the Lord without grumbling, complaining or arguing.   Do you do good with a bad attitude?   Sometimes it’s easy to get weary in well doing.    Adjust your attitude!!! Attitude is altitude!!!  Today do what is right with the right mindset!!! Be pleasing to our Lord, inside and out!!!

Don't be shaken

 Acts 2:25 “David said about him:  “I saw the Lord before me. Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.”

Don’t let anything or anyone shake 

You today!! The Lord is with You!!!

A cheerful heart is good medicine

 Proverbs 17:22 “ A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.”   How do you keep your  heart cheerful?   For me,  I stay cheerful because I keep my eyes on Jesus.    Every day there are things that can steal my joy, if I let them.   I try not to let them!! I do this by reading the Bible and applying it to my life.   I practice TRUSTING God in all things; knowing that all things will work out for my good and His glory.   Patience, is not my strong suit.   But when I truly, “wait upon the Lord” with His peace; I can have a cheerful heart.    I hope this helps you today too.   See what’s right, be thankful for it, be cheerful, knowing God’s sovereign hand is in it all.😇🙏❤️
