Esther 1:11 “to bring before him Queen Vashti, wearing her royal crown, in order to display her beauty to the people and the nobles, for she was lovely to look at.” In the book of Esther King Xerxes commanded Queen Vashti to “show herself off”. Was this respectful of Queen Vashti? When we focus on showing off our physical beauty what does that say about how much we value our inner beauty? How will you present yourself today?
