Proverbs 15:16 “Better is a little with the fear of the Lord than great wealth with turmoil.” Better to TRUST God and be content with a little than to be burdened by our assets. We can’t take any of our worldly wealth to Heaven. Best to not let it control us while we are here. The “fear” of God is not a trembling but a reverence and awe for Him that we desire to be pleasing to Him above all else. So easy to say, much harder to do. We cant have two masters and be single hearted. We cant serve God and money. Everything we have our physical abilities, financial assets, all of it is His in the first place. Honor Him today with what you have. Don’t let what you have become a burden to you.
