Christ wants not nibblers of the possible, but grabbers of the impossible.
C. T. Studd. Mark 10:27 Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God."
Sometimes loving someone feels impossible!😇. People come with flaws we are all broken. Loving the alcoholic can really "feel" impossible especially if they are actively drinking or haven't been working on their character defects. Jesus did not say love others if they are loveable, He said we are to love others as He loves us! He loves us each so much that while we were still sinners He came and died for us!! To pay the price of our sins and make us right with God! We can love the alcoholic and hate his or her disease. Love is kind, patient and understanding. I'm not saying to be actively involved with people who hurt you, I'm saying for our own health and wellness, we can actively chose loving thoughts for others rooted in forgiveness and acceptness for who they are and who they are not. Today, on this beautiful Valentines; try to actively love others the way Jesus loves them. Constantly forgiving, understanding and pure of heart. Happy Valentine's Day!!! John 13:34 "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another." ( These are the words of Jesus!)
