Fit Bit ( I shall not be moved!)

Fit Bit (I Shall not be Moved!)
Do you have some good healthful habits that will you simply “not be moved “on?

When I was a young girl, I fell in love with exercise and trying to eat well.  My healthful eating habits where moveable and therefore so was my weight, but my desire to workout was non-movable which resulted in me staying in decent shape for my life so far.

Exercise alone doesn’t really keep you fit.  Life is all about balance and correct centering.  At the height of my fitness I was at the low of my wellness.  It was not until I put my relationship with Jesus as my ROCK & CORNER STONE that I actually stated to achieve true wellness.  This physical body of mine is continually failing me.  Yet, Jesus never does.   Exercise, diet, sleep, rest, recreation, hygiene and proper dental and medical care are tremendously import to keep me physically ready for what my day brings and my ability to do the fun activities I enjoy.  Yet, true wellness came when I decided to love the one who loved me first, Jesus.  He gives me constant strength and joy regardless of my physical health.

Today, be encouraged to define the health habits you will not be moved on.  I hope you chose to put Jesus on the top of your list.

1 Timothy 4:8 “For physical training is of some value but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and that which is to come.”

Hebrews 12:27-29  “And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.
28Wherefore we receiving a kingdom, which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:
29For our God is a consuming fire.”

Be fit and be blessed,

Fit Bit ( My Yoke is Easy!)

Fit Bit (My Yoke is Easy!)

Do you ever feel like you are working against the grain?  Does it feel like everywhere you turn it’s and uphill road?  Are you looking for the peace and only finding chaos?

If this describes how you are feeling you may be walking in this world and not in His Word.
Mathew 11:30 “My Yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

When I get “stressed out”, its usually because I am trying to take control, attached to an outcome that is not happening.  I often want things to be different in my everyday life.  When I fantasize about having things different, I waste precious time in envy and despair.  This world had many advertisements about the “good life”.  The ads show that if we buy this or that product we will have health, wealth and live happily ever after.  The truth is life is just not happily ever after.  Even as a Christian I am faced with many things that are simply difficult.  Here are a couple sayings I like:

“God doesn’t give us what we can handle, He helps us handle what we have been given.”

“Don’t tell God you have a big problem tell your problem you have a big God.”

When I read and meditate on God’s word daily I am strengthened and realize no ones life, not even Jesus’s has ever been perfect.  Everyone struggles.  Yet, no matter what the struggle health, finances or relationships, when I walk in the word and trust Jesus the struggle becomes manageable.  His yoke is easy and His burden is light.

Today, if you start to stress and are tempted to cope with an unhealthy behavior, STOP and trust our Lord will see you through.

Be fit and be blessed,

Kimberly
