Fit Bit (Thankful this Memorial Day!)

Fit Bit (Memorial Day)
I heard a sermon yesterday that reminded me of the sacrifice our service men and women make and comparing it to the Jesus, giving His sacrifice once and for all.  Today, Memorial day, I stand in great appreciation for Jesus and our Military.  I pray that I too can serve others with a pure heart and be willing to pay the ultimate price.

This Memorial Day I just want to extend a heart felt THANK YOU to all service men and women and their families.  FREEDOM ISN’T FREE.  THANK YOU!!!

Hebrews 10:10 “By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.”

Hebrews 10:16  “This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;  17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.”

Be fit and be blessed,

Fit Bit (Motiviation)

Fit Bit (Motivation)
Motivation!!

Recently I ran a 50-mile run, for fun.  My dear friend asked me how I motivated to do that, It was simple, my others friends were doing it and I said I would.  My motivation for that event was I said I would so I wanted my yes to be yes.

Along the way, training for this event I felt the inevitable, “you can’t do this” come up.  One way I stayed motivated was to listen to the Prayz network, as I was on my long training runs.  I was convinced if I could listen to Prayz while doing my 50 miler and have it on a Speaker, I could witness for Jesus, be witnessed to and run.  I thought it was a perfect plan.  Unfortunately, there was no cell phone service where my 50 miler took place.  So during the race I held onto scripture, song lyrics and decided even if I couldn’t run I could walk.  While racing, I met someone who was cramping up.  I prayed for him and his cramps went away.  He said, “I forgot, that I could pray”.   Isn’t that funny?  I forget that too.  Sometimes I go out on my own and forget that God is with me.  When I remember I can call on Him at anytime for any thing, THAT IS MY TRUE MOTIVATION.

Whatever race you are running today, be motivated to finish what you started.  Let your Yes be Yes and you No be No.  Be strong and Courageous, Our Lord Jesus Christ lives in YOU!!!

Be fit and be blessed,

Kimberly

Matthew 5:37
All you need to say is simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything beyond this comes from the evil one.
