Fit Bit (Simple Faith)
As Jesus Was hanging on the cross, the robber next to him
acknowledged he deserved to be crucified and Jesus did not.
Luke 23:43 “And
he said, Jesus remember me when you come into your kingdom.” And He said to him, “Truly, I say to
you, today you will be with me in Paradise.”
This robber/sinner had not lived his life following Jesus,
or the teaching of the church, yet our Lord and Savior said, “Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in
Paradise.”
This man acknowledged Jesus as Lord and eternal, in
one sentence.
Can it be that easy?
I believe it can!
All men sin and fall short of the Glory of God. Jesus came, lived, died and rose again, ONCE
and FOR ALL!!!!!
We do not earn our righteousness. GRACE saves us. This is the simple truth.
Hebrews 7:23
“Now there have been many of those priests, since death prevented them
from continuing in office; 24 but because Jesus lives forever, He has a
permanent priesthood. 25 Therefore He is
able to save completely those who come to God through Him, because He always
lives to intercede for them. 27…He scarified
for their sins ONCE AND FOR ALL when He offered himself.”
