Fit Bit (Riding the storm out)
Yesterday my beautiful niece got married. The wedding was
set for 3pm, out doors and at 2 pm we had a major thunderstorm hit the
area. She could have been freaked out
and upset but she simply rode the storm out in faith. It so happened that the storm passed and she
had a wonderful outdoor wedding.
Eventually, more storm cells came through the area and the wedding
celebration had to be moved to an alternative site. I watched the bride and groom stay calm and
enjoy their day with out fret or worry.
It was a beautiful thing to watch them start their life together
weathering a big storm in faith and love.
God, tells us to trust Him in all things, to be thankful in
our trials. How do you do at that? I
find when I look at what is right and stay in thanksgiving and trust. I too can ride the storm out. Today be inspired to trust God in what ever
storm you are ridding. He is with you
and will work your trial into a triumph.
Colossians 4:15
“And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are
called in one body; and be ye thankful.”
