Fit Bit ( SO this is Christmas)

Fit Bit  ( So this is Christmas)
So this is Christmas!  I hope your Christmas and Christmas Eve were wonderful!!

Merry Christmas!   In some churches (e.g. the Anglican Communion) the season continues until the day before the Epiphany, which is celebrated either on January 6 or on the Sunday between January 2 and 8. (Wikipedia)

If you too recognize Christmas as a season, then you are just beginning to celebrate Christmas and it is not over.  Personally I love the fact my home church celebrates the season.  For me, the shopping, gift exchanging and making cookies are over. Now, I can concentrate even more on celebrating Jesus!!

I challenge you, during this time before the Epiphany to really put Jesus first in your life.  Figure out what that looks like for you and DO IT!

For me, to keep Him first, I try to read the Bible and pray each morning before I do anything else.  This helps me.

I am also trying to celebrate His birth by giving Him, better behavior from me.
My plan is to do better in my struggle areas, for Jesus.  I will try to make it for this short Christmas season and hopefully carry on past that.

Jesus doesn’t require my good behavior to love me.  He died for each of us while we were still sinners, there is nothing we can do that separates us from His love.  (PRAISE GOD!!)  Nonetheless because He loves me I want to love Him back.  I do this by, reading His word, praying often and letting His Holy Spirit guide my every step.  This Holy Spirit guidance is what is motivating me to try to live a better life for Him.

What is His Holy Spirit inspiring you to do?

Be inspired to let go of the behavior you no longer desire and do what you know the Lord is leading you to!

May you be blessed with a very Merry Christmas season and a Joy Filled New Year!!!

Philippians 3:13 “Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended; but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before.”
