...... 10 Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regrets, but worldly sorrow brings death." Let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and Spirit!! This is a great New Years verse!!! I have found that if I am going to leave a destructive pattern behind I first have to have true repentance in my heart. I have to be truly sorry for what I’ve done and truly want to walk in the other direction. To walk in health moving forward, I don’t regret the past I learn from it. Every rotten place I’ve ever been helps me help others get out of their rotten place. I don’t let my past haunt me I let it help me. I can leave the old ways behind because I fully believe and accept Jesus forgives my sins and remembers them NO MORE!! We each can walk in the newness of life, every moment of everyday! James 4:
7 "Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts,you double-minded." Let go of what is contaminating you and embrace Jesus!"
