The time is NOW!

2Corinthians 6:1-2 "As God's fellow workers we urge you not to receive  God's grace in vain. 2 For He says, "In the time of my favor  I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you." I tell you, now is the time of God's favor, now is the day of salvation."   Don’t put off tell tomorrow what you can do today!  The time between Christmas and New Years many people think about New Year’s resolutions and goals for the coming year.   Most people tell themselves I’ll do that then… often with January 1st in mind.    The time of favor is now!!! Today is the day of salvation!!!   I have found to achieve Christ centered goals I have to put and keep God first. For me, that's easier said than done.  I am in the AA program.  I have learned anything  I put ahead of my sobriety,  I will loose.     I think that’s true with faith too.    I quit drinking of Dec 27,2004.  If I would have waited to quit tell Jan 1st.  I may not have done it.   Today, I try to put my relationship with God first.  When I put Him first alcohol and other temptations don’t have the alluring power over me as they once did.    It takes me continual effort to remember to seek God first.     Often I get squirreled away with this or that.     I try to read the Bible every morning and take the time to think about what it says.    I try to listen to Christian broadcasting and fellowship with Christian friends.   If I start chasing things ahead of God I forget the powerful gift of Jesus.   The time of God’s favor is now!   Today is the day of salvation!!    Be inspired, don’t put off tell tomorrow what God is prompting you to do today!!  😇❤️🙏
