It is the season for wonderful food! I love Christmas cookies, fudge, popcorn balls and homemade ice cream. We have traditional dinners too, which are rich and loaded with delicious calories. How do you enjoy all these wonderful treats without going over board? The answer I use is; “SLOW IT DOWN”. Most of us are not “staving”; therefore we can take the time to enjoy each savory morsel. J
This is the season to try many wonderful things. It’s not a piece of cake or a couple cookies that make us gluttons it’s the over indulgence that wrecks the enjoyment of it all. When I savor the flavor, chew my food thoroughly, and simply “slow down”. I appreciate the wonderful food without the gluttony aspect of it all.
