Fit Bit (Trust in God not man)

1 Corinthians 2:3-5. “And I was with you in weakness, and in fear and in much trembling.  And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in the demonstration of Spirit and power;  5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.”

The author of this is Paul.  He is famous for his conversion from “Saul” , a persecutor of Christians to “Paul” a follower of Jesus and he wrote most of the New Testament.  His conversion reminds me that it is never too late for any of us to have the great awakening by experiencing the great exchange and start being followers of Jesus.  Paul literally went around killing Christians and Jesus changed his heart and made him new!!

Paul identifies his speaking is through the power of the Spirit of God.  In todays world it can be so difficult to know where to get the TRUTH.  We see people make decisions in panic. The scammers are coming out to sell and steal.  But we can TRUST in God.  He is the same yesterday, today and forever.

There is an old saying, “If you don’t stand for something you will fall for anything”.

Today be inspired to Stand on ROCK ; Jesus is LORD.  Use the Holy Bible to guide your every step. (Let it be a lamp unto your feet.  Psalm 119:105)

During this “Down Time”, for many of us it’s important that we don’t just sit and watch the panic unfold on the TV.  I have a family fitness quest, which is a free download on my website that is a good way to remember to take good care of your life and be a good steward of what you have.  Let me know if you try it.  It’s something constructive to do and GREAT for a family or friends to do together.

Be fit and be blessed,

Kimberly
