Fit Bit(worry)

Fit Bit (Worry)
Question:
I have been struggling with my adult children.  I thought they were headed in a maturing direction and now it seems they are blowing their opportunities.
They won’t even talk with me.  How can I help them?  I find myself so worried.

ANNswer:
We are not in control.  God is in control.  We all have to TAKE OUR OWN PATH.  It is very difficult to sit back and watch our children or loved ones make choices that in our opinions are bad ones.   Yet, we too make those same seemingly bad decisions.  When we are at peace with God, and we look back at our lives we realize that every decision we’ve made good or bad has lead us to who we are now.  God’s plan works.  Even the poor choices we make will turn out for good, when we love and trust God.

Romans 8:28  “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”

Some of our worse choices have brought us closest to God.  In the long run it is not how much money we make, or what kind of car we drive, how we look, how much weigh…it is our relationship with Jesus Christ that really matters.

This is true for our loved ones too.  Don’t worry, trust God.  You can pray.  God answers prayers, in His perfect timing.

Mathew 6:34  “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things, Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”

Be fit and be blessed,

Kimberly
