These first few months of 2012 we have been concentrating on the Fitness Challenge. The Fitness Challenge is simple and effective. Now, we will be moving through our Seven times Seven program which focuses on creating Godly balance in every area of our lives. To get a preview go to the Faith Centered Fitness Logo;
In the Fitness Challenge we focus on;
1. Love God: pray and read scripture daily
2. Love ourselves; sleep, rest, recreate, exercise, nutrition
3. Love others; random acts of kindness
If we live each day of our lives committed to step one we will be happy. Steps 2&3 help our overall wellness.
In order to stay on track in a healthful Christian lifestyle we need to keep our minds renewed in Gods’ word. If we are going to live a better life we need to decide to do so. This is a decision we make moment by moment in our minds. Each of us has the power to control our thoughts, focusing them on God. This week we will be concentrating on renewing our minds.
Ask yourself, do I continually trust God and seek His word for my guidance? Is God front and center on my mind? Or do I forget He is there and only occasionally call on Him?
Memorize this verse;
Romans 12:2 “ And do not be conformed by this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”
Be fit and be blessed,
PS; I still have space in the woman’s retreat June 2-9. Please contact me if you are interested. It will be a tremendous way to develop a healthy Christian lifestyle and form new supporting Christian friendships. Kimberlyamathews@gmail.com 608-487-4879
