Healthy and Well (soul 1)

Healthy and Well (Soul 1)
Body- Mind- Soul    this is the focus of many wellness programs today.

Faith Centered Fitness, in its simplicity is body, mind, and soul;

 Body=Love yourself =treat your body like His temple not your trashcan.
 Mind= Love God= be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
  Soul= Love others=Love others as Christ loves you.

So far, in our “Healthy and Well for 2012” we have focused on our bodies and our minds.  How are you doing so far? Are you treating your body as His temple?    Are you combatting defeating, fearful, worrisome thoughts with Gods word, His promises?
To be successful in a Faith Centered lifestyle, make a daily commitment to Mathew 6:33 “Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you.”.   Don’t be discouraged if you have started to fall back into old habits, simply start fresh today, moment-by-moment.  Through Jesus Christ we are forgiven, we have a fresh start each moment.  Accept the New life Jesus died to give you.  Keep on keeping on in a direction pleasing to Him.

SOUL= When our souls are full and happy we are content and able to do His will.  When we feel empty inside, we are needy and likely to fill ourselves with the fad of the day, In an empty state we are more likely treat our bodies as trash cans and become discouraged in our thinking. The only way to be truly full is to let God through Jesus Christ enter into our lives so we can be full  with His Holy Spirit.

Today, ask God to keep you full on the inside.  If you feel yourself starting to be torn or empty, call on Him.  Ask Him to fill you up.  This week we will focus on being full of His love so we have what it takes to give it away.  (Love others)

Ephesians 2:10  “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.”

Be fit and be blessed,

Kimberly
