Old Testament; Genesis 43; 1- 44; 34

Joseph had his brothers join him for dinner.  They still did not realize who he was.  When Joseph laid eyes on his full blood brother Benjamin he had to leave the room and weep he was filled with so much emotion.  Life Lesson; our family is very special. We need to value them, regardless of our issues.

New Testament; Mathew 15; 10-39 Jesus Said, “It is not what goes into the mouth that defiles a man, it is what comes out of the mouth that defiles him.”

Life lesson; It is so easy to say things; it takes Godly character to BE true.

Psalms 13:1-6   5 “But I will trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation.”

Old Testament Genesis 451-47; 12

Joseph, reunited with his brothers who had sold him into slavery did not greet them with a bitter heart but a loving, forgiving one.  Joseph set up his bothers and Father with great provision.  Life lesson; With God as our ROCK (Jesus the cornerstone), we can treat even those who have hurt us with great love, forgiveness and provision.

New Testament Mathew 16;1-20

Jesus said, “Be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees.”

Mathew 16:18..And on this ROCK, I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.”  Life lesson; Many people will give you much ungodly advise.  Especially in todays “everything goes society.  Take your advise from the Word of GOD!!!

Psalms 14; 1-7  “The fool says in his heart, there is no God.  They are corrupt, their deeds are vile; there is no one who does good.”…Life lesson; We need a savior…. We need Jesus!  Thank God, He has given us refuge in Christ Jesus.

This refuge is true fitness!!!!!
