Did you have some fun yesterday?

Was it a good, healthful form of fun?  Sometimes our ideas of fun get messed up.  My son who was recently in a significant car accident is missing his FUN.  He thinks drinking, and getting wasted is fun.   He literally is struggling to find new forms of fun.  Currently, He cannot participate in contact sports.  He misses Hockey too and doesn’t know what to do to have fun.

How about you?  Do you have healthful forms of fun in your day?  If eating a piece of chocolate cake is fun for you and you need to loose ten pounds it is not a good choice for fun. If flirting with your co-worker is fun and one of the two of you is married…not a good form of fun.  (You get the picture)

Many of us are in positions where we do not have much time for fun.  Learning to have simple, healthful pleasures in our daily routine adds to our ability to enjoy our lives.

Identify some simple ways to have fun today…regardless of how busy you are. 

Do them!!!

One thing I do for fun is compliment others.  I truly enjoy, noticing something special about someone and telling him or her about it.

1 Philippians 2:14  “ Do all things without complaining and disputing.
