Welcome to week four!
1. Love God, spend time with Him daily. (Mathews 6:33)
2. Sleep well. (Proverbs 3:24)
3. Rest in Stress. Trust God. Practice faith not fear. (1 Peter 5:7)
We are building our foundation. Our foundation is the most important part of our health and wellness. We need to be built on the Rock. Jesus is the Cornerstone, the Rock, and the foundation! (Mathew 21:42)
We are spending the first month of our “Healthy and Well” on this, because with Christ all things are possible with out Him we are likely to whither and fade.
Do you enjoy your life?
John 10:10 “ The thief does not come except to steal, kill and destroy. I have come that they may have life and have it more abundantly.”
We all encounter stress, feelings of despair, loneliness, anger, and frustration. What do you do in these times? During these times I am more likely to over eat, under exercise, over stress and over react. When we feel the thief trying to steal our joy lets have a plan to change our focus so we can live in God promise not our pain.
Today, think of things you can do to enjoy your life. Do you like to take walks? Do you like to sit in a quiet place? Do you like to listen to music? Make a list of ten, healthful choices you like to do, that can help you re-create your attitude. Proverbs 23:7 “As a man think in his heart so is he.”
We can control what we think about. Sometimes we physically need to change our environment to do so. An example: Go from the kitchen to you bedroom and listen to music.
