Old Testament; Exodus 13:1-14:31
The parting of the Red Sea
14:29 “But the Israelites west through the sea on
dry ground, with a wall of water on their right and on their left. 30 That day the Lord saved Israel from the
hands of the Egyptians, and Israel saw the Egyptians lying dead on the
shore. 31And when the Israelites saw the
great power the Lord displayed against the Egyptians, the people feared the
Lord and put their trust in Him and in Moses His servant.”
Kimberly’s thoughts; God had
performed many miracles in Egypt to get Pharaoh to, let the Israelites go. Yet, the Israelites still needed another
great miracle to trust and fear God. It
is easy to forget the power of God.
New Testament; Mathew 27:45-66
54 “When the Centurion and those with him who
were guarding Jesus saw the earthquake and all that had happened they were
terrified, and exclaimed, “Surely He was the Son of God!”
Proverbs 4:20-27
27”Do not swerve to the right
or the left; keep your foot from evil.”
