Old Testament; Exodus 23:1-24:18
24:3 When Moses went and told
the people all the Lord’s words and laws, they responded with one voice,
“Everything the Lord has said we will do.”
Kimberly’s thoughts; People give
God lip service. Yet, true services are
from the heart with determination and follow through.
Prayer; Lord, please help us all
give you true service. Thank you for
Jesus, because we cannot give you the service you desire, but He did in our
place. Through your Holy Spirit, let us
each try.
New Testament; Mark 3:31-4:29
34“The he looked at those
seated in a circle around him and said, “Here are my
mother and my brothers! 35Whoever does
God’s will is my brother and sister and mother.”
Kimberly’s thoughts; It truly is
family being in fellowship with other believers. The Parable of the sower is in Chapter
4. To be doing God’s word we need to let
it root deep inside and keep it nurtured.
Having regular times to read His word and fellowshipping with other
Christians helps each of us be truly grounded.
Psalms 22:22-31
22 I will declare your name
to my brothers; in the congregation I will praise you.
