A little compromise in our commitments and pretty soon we can be back to the same old same old. It is easy to think a little bit won’t matter. When we let a little bit of compromise in we are opening the door for more. If we baked a pan of brownies and just put a little bit of cow manure in them, we would not eat the brownies. Yet we allow ourselves a little more food then we need to eat, a little less exercise then we need, a little envy, a little gossip. Is it really all that much different then a little cow manure?
Today if we are tempted to say, “It won’t matter, it is just little compromise.” Let’s stay on track, put on His armor and be determined to be all He has called us to be for the remaining of this Lent challenge! No matter how many times we have failed it is over. We have this moment to succeed.
John 8:34-36 “Jesus answered them, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever. If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. KJV
