The next spoke of our wellness wheel is work.
I love the saying, “If you love what you do you will never have to work another day in you life!” Most of us spend the majority of our waking hours at work. If we chose to be miserable during this time frame, we are choosing to be miserable for a considerable chunk of our life.
Sometimes the work we have before us is not pleasurable. Yet if we do all things unto His glory we can turn dreaded tasks into a form of worship. Knowing we are doing all our work for the Lord helps with internal motivation and true joy.
When we can walk in joy, in all we do, it is easier to stay on track with all our wellness goals.
1 Corinthians 15:58 “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.” KJV
