Lent Wellness Challenge day 33

This is our final week.  Yesterday, we reviewed taking time to make our relationship with God through Jesus one of our rocks.  A rock being something we are sure to do each day!

Today, let’s review simple ways to be healthy.  Our body is His temple; taking care of His temple needs to be a rock!
1.     Sleep.
2.     Rest. (Cast your cares upon Him for He cares for you)
3.     Recreate (Do all things unto the Lord with joy in our hearts)
4.     Exercise (Exercise profits the body a little, Godliness profits the body in all things)
5.     Nutrition
6.     Hygiene
7.     Medical and dental care

Each of the above areas is important for our physical health.  We do not need to be phenatical we just need to consistently do things that will help us go in the right direction.  When we are lacking in any of the above seven areas we can start to feel triggered to throw in the towel. Do what is manageable, daily and then stretch your self a bit to be better.

When we feel good in our physical bodies we are more able to go out and do what needs to be done for God.  Love God and us by taking care of us spiritually and physically.

Proverbs 20:17 “Bread of deceit is sweet to a man; but afterward his mouth shall be filled with gravel.”
