New Beginnings!! In order to have a new beginning we have to let go of the past. So simple, so true. Dec 27th I celebrated two birthdays 1. My dog Isabelle, she is 17. 2. my sobriety date. I think it's so cool she was born on the day I quit drinking. She and Jesus helped me change my life. I needed to let go of romancing the idea of being a social/normal drinker and embrace an alcohol free life style. Jesus is the key to my sobriety through Him I have forgiveness for all my sins and I take on His right standing with God it's His gift to each of us if we simply believe. I knew I'd forget how deeply I'm loved by Jesus if I ever started drinking again. In my sobriety it's hard enough to do the right thing certainly in my drinking I continually compromised my integrity. When I make poor choices I can beat myself up over and over again. But that's wrong. Jesus died for all my sin!!! Yesterday, today and tomorrow's, this doesn't make me want to live in sin it makes me let go of the wrong, shake it off and keep trying. We get a fresh start with JESUS DAY BY DAY, moment by moment!! When I quit drinking I had to find new things to do, one thing I did was walk my new dog. The main thing I did was embrace my Christian walk, reading His word and taking the time to realize everything in the Bible is true and applies to my life. Today and this new year. My prayer for you is that you can intentionally leave the past in the past, learn from it and move forward with Jesus. Forgive those who need to be forgiven and accept the forgiveness Jesus died to give you and move forward in the high calling of Christ Jesus!! Happy, Blessed new year!!!ππππππ❤️. Isaiah 43:18-19 " Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. 19 See, I am doing a new thing!" Isaiah 43:25 "I even I, am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake and remembers your sins no more." Philippians3:13 " But one thing I do: "Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize to which God has called me Heavenward in Christ Jesus." Happy New Year!!!πππ

Make a plan2022π
Proverbs 16:3 "Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed." Here at the end of 2021 it's time to reflect and make plans for 2022. Many of my "plans" don't work out, but in my very act of trying, I have lessons learned and I become a better person. My struggle is keeping God in my plans. Today, as I ponder 2022, I'm hoping to focus on His ways not mine. I'm trying to make sure what I am focusing on lines up with Gods word. When I go after " Kimberly's way". I'm like a bull in a China closet. When I wait on God, trying to move in His direction for His glory my path is blessed with more peace. I hope this helps you start thinking of how your life can honor God more fully in 2022. Be fit and be blessed. KimberlyπππΈπ¦ . Happy New Year!!

Whose we are determines who we are
"Loving God, thank you for reminding me that who I am is based on whose I am----yours simply yours." This is a prayer I found that I like very much. 1 John 3:1 "See what great love the Father has lavished on us that we should be called children of God!" Who we are is based on Whose we are. So beautiful!! Sometimes I can get discouraged as I fall short in this or that. Thing is, I often fall short and my plans often don't come to flourishion. When I allow my identity to be determined by who I am verses whose I. I get caught up in being a Humane doing. Who I am is not what I do but whose I am. Whose I am, determines who I am. Cool huh?? Happy New year. πππππ¦ πΈπ

Don’t get burdened with responsibilities, you have been entrusted with those!!
Matthew 11:28-30 " Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
These are the words of Jesus!!
He alone give us rest for our souls. Lets our burdens be light!! We each have " burdens" it's letting Jesus take the wheel that helps us not be under them, but thrive through them. I heard an interview with a woman who stayed in thankfulness during many adversities. She had a beautiful testimony!!! Sometimes I let myself "Feel" burdened. How ridiculous! If I have responsibilities they are a gift from God. He has entrusted me with those things. Today. I am choosing to be thankful and give Jesus the wheel. I hope this motivates you, to do the same. His yoke is easy His burden is light!! Lets stay Christ focused!! ππ¦ ππΈ

Merry Christmas ππ!
Merry Christmas πππ❤️
John 16:33 " I have told you these thing so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world ". Colossians 1:19 " For God was pleased to have all fullness dwell in Him, 20 and through Him to reconcile to Himself all things, weather things on earth or things in Heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross."
Luke 2:10 "But the Angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all people. 11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; He is Christ! The Lord." 12 This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in clothes lying in a manger." These three verses fit so beautifully together today in pointing us to Jesus. Our Lord and Savior, Redeemer mighty to save! Born meek and humble as a babe in the manger. Only God could come up with such a plan. It’s way beyond our understanding. We need simply to Believe and TRUST. Merry Merry Christmas!!! Thank you Jesus!! Happy Birthday!!ππππ❤️πΈπ¦ . Rejoice in the Lord always!! I will say it again, rejoice!! ( Philippians 4:4)

Romans 10:4 " Christ is the end of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes." ....10:9 "That is you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." Merry Christmas!!!ππππ. Just believe!!!! It is by Grace we are saved. Truly the greatest gift of all!! Today may you simply walk in this truth. Let His love reign in your heart letting it overflow, so you can be a beacon of His light this Christmas and beyond!!! Merry Christmas πππππΈπ¦ ❤️

Unshakeable joy
Words of Jesus:
John 15:11 " These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full." His joy in us fills us to overflowing!! Christmas what a beautiful time to reflect on “God with us”, Immanuel. God in us through the power of His Holy Spirit. Made possible by Jesus the Christ!!! Peace and Joy through Jesus Christ. Confusion, disappointments and distractions can keep us from simply resting in His Joy. This life on earth is short. Heaven is long. Thank you Jesus that we have Heaven to look forward to and joy that is unshakeable here in this life! πππ❤️πΈππ¦

Christ in us!!
Colossians 1:26 " To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory." Christ in us!! I love this!!! A freind of mine described his widowed status as “hard to get used to not having anyone care about you”. I understand that too, it would be nice to have someone to talk with about my day and my thoughts about many things. But STOP, we do have someone that truly cares and wants to have us confide in Him. That person is Jesus!! He is with us always and knows everything about us and loves us through it all. Today if your tempted to feel like no one cares, STOP and remember you are cared for and loved deeply by the one that matters most!! Thank you Jesus!!! Matthew 28:20” Lo, I am with you always even to the end of the age.”

Shine bright! This shortest dayπ
Psalm 37:4 " Delight your self in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart. 5 Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him and He will do this: 6 He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun." Shine like the noon day
Sun!!! SHINE Bright!! Today is the shortest day of the year. After June 21, the longest day of the year. I look forward to, this day; when daylight hours start to get longer. Today, this fist day of Winter reminds me of HOPE!! The Hope for the noon day sun to be shinning longer and longer. Heaven will be like that; no darkness, no darkness in our souls. Thank you Jesus!! Thanks, that you take our sins and give us your right standing with God that we will have eternal life & light!!! πππππ¦ πΈ❤️. What a gift!!!Merry Christmas!!!

Perfect Peace
Isaiah 26:3 "You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you. 4 Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord is the Rock eternal. ". He will keep us in perfect peace!! Many times I have to take a deep breath and say, Okay God...YOU! Your ways not mine. Healthy, well living starts with peace, His peaceπππππΈπ¦

Holy, Healthy, Happy
Luke 4:8 "Jesus answered, " It is written,"Worship the Lord your God and serve Him only." Holy, Healthy, Happy living is all based on worshiping and serving our Lord always. Treating of bodies as His temples and being a good steward of all He has given us. Thank you, is a simple word that helps me do this. When I live being thankful for what I have not anxious about what I don’t, I am more likely to serve Him out of the abundance He has provided. The abundance I give from is usually not money based What will you do today to worship and serve our Lord gladly? Worshiping Him and Serving Him in all we think, say and do helps us achieve Holy, Healthy, Happy living. Merry Christmas!!ππππ

Holy verses indulgent
The temptation of Jesus
Matthew 4:1 " Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the dessert to be tempted by the devil. 2 after fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. 3 The tempter came to him and said, "If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread. 4 Jesus answered, "It is written a Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God." Temptation!! Here in Advent season we are to be preparing our hearts for Christmas. Reflecting on our sinful nature and our need for a Savior and rejoicing knowing Jesus is He!! Yet, Advent season is also labeled the "Holiday Season!" And instead of the focus being " Holy" as featured in the word Holiday, it becomes an indulgent season. We have an expectation to spend extra monies, make bigger feasts and Have extra sweets. Seems like that's almost the opposite of reflecting on our need for a Savior. I spent 29 years trying yo quit drinking CHRISTMAS PARTY SEASON was always a hard one for me to make it through. This Advent let's truly reflect on sincerity of heart and keep Jesus as the reason for The season. Merry Christmas ππππ¦ ❤️πΈ

Mary did you know?
Luke 1:28 "The Angel went to her and said, " Greeting, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you," 29 Mary was greatly troubled at his words and wondered what kind of greeting this might be. 30 But the Angel of the Lord said to her, " Do not be afraid, Mary you have found favor with God. 31 You will be with child and give birth to a son, and you will give him the name Jesus." 32 and he will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. 33 and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever; His kingdom will never end." Wow!!! Can you imagine? Mary knowing she was a virgin, told she'd carry the Son of God. How amazing!! Last nights winds caused a little stir at my house. The Birth of Jesus.... changed everything!!! Thank you Lord, that you love us so much you give us Jesus to take away our sin and make us right with you. Always and forever!!ππ❤️π¦ πΈπ

Wait!!! Don’t force it!!
Wait upon the Lord! Wait!!! π. Waiting , not easy for me to do. In today's world we are continually given instant gratification. We get irritated if our fast food isn't fast enough. Yesterday, I heard a couple messages that said, "don't force it". I'm a type A personality I naturally take charge and get things done. Yet, forcing things produce the opposite effect. Today, once again I'm praying for patience as God works in the many areas of my life that I need to simply TRUST Him in. He promises to never leave us nor forsake us. He also says if we seek Him first, He will give us the desires of our heart. Today may you be inspired to TRUST Him in the waiting.ππ❤️ππ¦ πΈ
Isaiah 40:31 But those who hope is in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like Eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

Hear is Short… Heaven is long
John 6:26 "Jesus answered, "I tell you the truth, you are looking for me, not because you saw miraculous signs, but because you ate the loaves and had your fill. 27 Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. On Him God the Father has placed His seal of approval.""
Working for food that does not spoil. Chasing windmills, Donqueoti. Today I'm convicted to really look at what I do with my energy. Am I investing in Gods kingdom or Kimberly's earthly pleasures? Sad to say I chase more for Kimberly. Last night I heard a testimony from a lady named Jennifer. She is blind. I saw her speak at a women's conference once. She is Spirit filled. She was in the kitchen and her daughter in law watched her bump into a variety of things, she was having a tuff time. Her daughter said, “it must be very hard to be blind”. Jennifer said, "Yes,this life is very hard sometimes but it is very short compared to our life in Heaven." So profound!! Today I'm remembering ; this life is short Heaven is long!! "Life on Earth is soon to pass only what's done for Christ will last." The most influential people in my life have been the ones who point me to Jesus. π❤️πππ¦ πΈ Today, will you work for you or Jesus?

Forward in Faith.not Fear!!
Psalm 139:23 "Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. 24 See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me
In the way of everlasting."
Anxiety is something that many of us deal with. Sometimes it can be paralyzing. When I was a Fire Fighter we would get calls for people having panic attacks. There are very real physical symptoms from anxiety!! Philippians 4:6 “ Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving , present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will gaurd your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. “. TRUST God, in all things!! He loves you and your loved ones more then you can ever understand. Forward in Faith!! Be anxious for nothing…. Gods got this!!!πππ¦ ❤️πΈπ

No worries , we are just unfinishedπ
Psalm 25:15 "My eyes are ever on the Lord, for only He will release my feet from the snare." Psalm 27:14 “ Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.” These two verses are encouraging me today. I find my strength to overcome the behaviors in me I am being convicted to change, by drawing closer to God. I do that by being still, readying His word and praying and contemplating. ( yes my friends. I sit still!π). It took me 29 years of trying to quit drinking before I received my 1 year chip. Wait for the Lord!! Be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord!!! I have to trust in the process, through Him, day by day. I am not an “ instant perfection in my behavior “ I am in the sanctification process. We all are. We are instantly saved, when We believe Jesus paid the price for our sins on the cross and gives us His right standing with God and eternal life. Yet as We live here on earth as children of God, we are going through a sanctification process , helping us become more and more like Jesus. Until we get to Heaven we will always fall short. Today let these verses remind you, to “keep on keeping on”, we are all works in progress. πππ¦ ❤️πΈ

Your Uniqueness for Him!
I’ve always kind of viewed the locker room as my mission field. Wherever God calls you, that’s where God calls you to be a missionary.
NFL Quarterback Ryan Tannehill. I read this today and it reminds me of how unique each of us are. He make us different so we can teach different types of people for him. One of my dearest friends says his mission files is on a bicycle. An other of my friends said she met her husband on the dance floor, the two are now missionaries. Last night I had some friends over to go skiing and found our conversation going toward the intimacy of Jesus how He knows every hair on every one of our heads. Today, let's try to embrace our personal uniqueness and use it to reach others for Jesus. To speak boldly about Jesus we have to be courageous! This is Advent season BE YOU, for Christ!!πππ¦ ❤️πΈ
Deuteronomy 31:8 “The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid do not be discouraged.”

He knows us, Sheepπ
Words of Jesus
John 10:14 "I am the good Shepard; I know my sheep and my sheep know me-". He knows each of us intimately not a hair grows on our heads without him knowing about it. He knows everything we go through, all our emotions and fears and loves us intimately through it all!!! Matthew 28:20 " Lo, I am with you always even to the end of the age." Always and intimately that's what we have in Jesus!!! He said, " I know my sheep and my sheep know me." For me to "know" our Lord Jesus I have to spend daily time in His word and intentionally pray and spend time with Him. If I want a deeper relationship with anyone I have to spend more time with that person. It's like that with Jesus, to know Him we have to intentionally spend time with Him. The cool thing is; He is God, He knows us and loves us no matter what bunny hole we are running. He is always with us, always wanting us to "Be" in fellowship with Him. It’s so wonderful to have an ever loving, ever present, Savior this Advent season and beyond!!! Way beyond πππ¦ ❤️πΈ. Life eternal because of the powerful gift of JESUS!!

Hope floats π
Hebrews 10:22”Let us draw near to God, with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold unswervingly to the Hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. 25 Let us not give up meeting together as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another - and all the more as you see the day approaching.” Let us stand strong in Hope and encourage each other to do so as well!! Be the light of Jesus!!! It’s so easy to fall into commiserating with each other, STOP!!! Look at the wonder!! Know you have real hope in Jesus. TRUST and encourage others. Let’s be the light this Advent season. πππ¦ ❤️πΈ

Look to food tgat doesn’t spoil this Christmas π
Words of Jesus;
John 6:27 "Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. On Him God the Father has placed His seal of approval." Don't work for food that spoils! This speaks loudly to me this Christmas season. Every year the commercialism of Christmas irritates me. I love to simply take this time to focus on Jesus and how He came to Save! He came to earth to feed us with Hope eternal, not food that spoils. Even if we give someone diamonds and gold for Christmas those things will just be trinkets in a box someday. Yet if we point our loved ones to the meaning of the season, Jesus Christ ; our sins forgiven, His righteousness in us and eternal life promised. That's truly the bread of life that doesn't spoil!! The simple Gospel is eternal life giving!!! This Advent season remember to give hope that doesn't fade!! Jesus Christ the reason for the season!!! Praise the Lord!!!πππΈ❤️π¦

Nurtured by Nature thanks be to God!!
Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." 29:11 was one of the first Bible verses I memorized. It helps me remember in the middle of my plans and dreams not coming to flourishion His plans for me are. His ways, not mine produce His fruit as I truly seek Him first. For me God really nurtures me in Nature. When I get outside and look at all His glory, it's easy for me to see His awesomeness and easier for me to get out of my head and let Him first place in my heart. I hope you can let God’s great outdoors nurture you today too. Seek Him first, everything else will fall into place. That is what Advent is all about preparing your heart for the coming of our King!!πππ¦ ❤️πΈ

He is mighty to save!!
Zephaniah 3:17 " The Lord your God is with you, He is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, He will quiet you with His love." He is mighty to save!!! He will quiet you with His love. Jesus said, take my yoke upon you,
Matthew 11:30 " My yoke is easy my burden is light." If I'm really stressed doing something then it dawns on me...... His yoke is easy , His burden is light. If I'm super stressed or heavy ladened then I'm not letting God help me or trusting Him in it all. Hope your day is for Him and with Him as your burdens are placed at His feet!!πππ¦ ❤️πΈ

What is Advent for?
1 Timothy 2:1-6 "I urge, then first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone- 2 For kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. 3This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all men to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Jesus Christ, 6 who gave himself as a ransom for all men-the testimony given in its proper time. " Our true health and wellness starts in our hearts. If we have unforgiveness in our hearts toward any one (even if they were horrible) we are the one left sick. Paul's says "request, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone". Jesus said, "Love others as I have loved you". If we spend time with people we can get offended or opinionated it's human. We are to shine in people lives to do this we first have to have a pure heart toward all people regardless of their political or religious opinions. For me to do that I have to pray and ask Jesus to give me a pure heart. It's not by my strength it's His that helps me do this. Today. I hope your requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving can be made for everyone.πππ¦ ❤️πΈ. Isn't that want Advent is about? Knowing God so we can be His love?

Self seeking? God honoring?
Hebrews 12:28 “ Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God Acceptably with reverence and awe, 29 for our “God is a consuming fire”. We can not be shaken! Today, I'm beating myself up for a couple things I've recently done that I wish I wouldn't have. Rehearsing decisions I've already made, wishing I did something different is absolutely worthless. We can't would have should have or could have anything. What helps me move forward is knowing God sees all my decisions good and bad and is with me always working my life choices out for His glory and my sanctification. I don't like the discipline of poor decisions but I do like knowing God loves me enough to do so. Today. I hope you only make good decisions and they are blessed by God. But is you find yourself in regret simply repent and move forward His ❤️ love for us cannot be shaken!!!πππΈπ¦ . Many of my poor decisions are based on people pleasing over taking time and being a God pleaser. I hope this helps you today too.

Thanks Living
Colossians 3:17 "And whatever you do, weather in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him." This is one of my favorite verses what ever we think say or do ... do it to honor God with thanksgiving. Our Pastors sermon was on Thanks Living yesterday. How perfect!!! Thanksgiving is not just a table prayer once a year but a constant lifestyle of remembering everything we have is for Him and by Him. We are called to be good stewards of our lives all areas. Today many of us have family get togethers we are to be good stewards of our relationships too loving others as Jesus loves us!!! No person is perfect… love them where they are at, that is how Jesus loves us. Happy Thanks giving may you stay in Thanks Living!!!πππ¦ππ¦ πΈ❤️

Thankful “IN” it all. Not always for it all
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 " Be joyful always; 17 pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is Gods will for you in Christ Jesus". Romans 8:28-29 "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose. 29 For those God for knew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of His Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers." 30 And those He predestined, He also called; those He called He also justified, those He justified, He also glorified. ". Be thankful "IN" all things!!! We don't have to be thankful FOR all things but in them. Is how I read this. In all things I can TRUST God is working. I might not like it and often I don't. But if I truly TRUST, I know; He has His reasons and in the big picture all things work for His Glory and our sanctification. Today I will chose to be thankful in all things seeing what right and Thanking HIM for it all. Trusting His ways are greater then I can think!!ππππ¦π¦ ❤️πΈ

Love eachother deeply
1 Peter 4:8 "Above all love each other deeply, because love covers a multitude of sins. 9 Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. 10 Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully, administering God's grace in various forms." Offer hospitality without complaining!! This is great! Thanksgiving week is a great time to BE thankful. Thankful for whatever we have. Many times holidays are difficult. Families don't love perfectly and we all have hard. Thankful in all things without complaining. Attitude of gratitude is a beautiful way of life. Ultimately when we look up and TRUST God even our worst case scenario has His peace in it. ππ¦ ππΈ❤️

Alive in Christ!
Ephesians 2:4 "But because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions-it is by Grace you have been saved." Today, my theme is "Alive in Christ!!!". Ephesians 2:10 "For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." When intentionally invest in even a small act of good works or a simple "random act of kindness" it helps me feel alive!! Let's be the hands and feet of Jesus today!!! Be careful, personally If I take on too much, then in my good works I can have a poor attitude which negates the good. We are to go and do good with a "happy to help" attitude. If you find yourself feeling burdened, it'll show. Get you strength and direction from Jesus! ππ¦ π❤️πΈ♥️

Clean the inside so the outside shines
Matthew 23:26 "Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also." Clean the inside so the outside can be clean also!! This speaks to me..... I have to let Jesus purify my heart so I can be His Son's Shine inside and out. If we as Christians simple superficially smile and inside we grumble and complain we will not BE spreading His Love. We can all spot insincerity in others, we don't get away with it either. Today ask Jesus to fill you with His Holy Spirit that you can truly BE cleansed from the inside as you give all your sin, shame and guilt to Him and take on His intense Beauty, Love and sincerity of heart ♥️ πππ¦ πΈ

Where are you God? I am with you!!
One of my sisters in Jesus describes "Grace" as God giving us the good we don't deserve and "Mercy" as God sparing us from the punishment we do deserve. I love this simple explanation!! That is the simplicity of the Gospel. Jesus takes all our sin (Mercy) and in exchange gives us His right standing with God (Grace). So beautiful!!! When I am tempted to see what's wrong, the seemingly unanswered prayers, I have to hit STOP! And go back to this simple saving truth. Illness, insanity, pain are all just a condition of this world and even if we get 100 years here it's a very short experience that either opens or shuts the door to Heaven. The simple faith in Salvation through Jesus, opens the door to Heaven. We are called to continually turn from out sin and turn to God in our here and now. We are saved by Grace, not by works. I have the strength to "keep on keeping on"when I keep on remembering I am forgiven I am the righteousness of Jesus. His strength is made perfect in my weakness. Romans 8:18 " For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us." Be strong today in His Mercy and Grace!!!
Where are you God? "I am with you and I know best!" In our Bible study Tuesday this question and answer came up. Mathew 28:20 " Lo, I am with your always, even to the end of the age."

Power in the tongue
1 Peter 3:10 "For, " Whoever would love life and see good days must keep his tongue from evil and his lips from deceitful speech." There is a verse in Proverbs that states; “as a man thinks so shall he be”... Sometimes when I think something it comes out my mouth sometimes that is grumbling, complaining or defeat. The tongue is powerful. Some people who habitually lie start to believe their own lies and people around them start to believe what is said too. Words are powerful. Jesus spoke this world into existence. There is power in our words good or evil. Speak life!!! I try to speak Bible verses over my life so I can stay focused on the hope, I have in Jesus. God’s word helps me conquer the worldly problems I face. Speaking life, helps my heart be healthy. Today be inspired to keep your tongue in a God honoring fashion.πππ¦ ❤️πΈ

The Joy of the Lord is our Strength
Nehemiah 8:10 "Nehemiah said, "Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is sacred to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength." The Joy of the Lord is our strength!!!! We've all heard the phrase, " Do you see the glass half full or half empty?" When I keep my eyes on Jesus and TRUST He loves me and my loved ones more than I can understand. TRUSTING, His ways are higher then mine. I keep His joy in my heart and have the strength to “keep on keeping on”, no matter what. I try to start my every morning with; “This is the day the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it!!” Today and always let the Joy of the Lord be your strength!!!πππ¦ ❤️πΈ

Restoration and recovery group
I am now leading the Restoration and Recovery group at First Free, on Thursday nights from 6-8 pm room 208. No one was there last week so it felt like a big waste. This week I’m inviting my friends from this blog it’s a woman’s group that I’m starting. All of us deal with things that take us away from our true health in Jesus. I hope you can come this Thursday and or let someone know and invite them. We will use the Bible to find solutions to our issues. I think it’ll be very uplifting and extremely empowering!! Please let me know if you can come. π. Not sure this is what you are looking for but it'll be a dynamic group addresssing each of our own Christian life skills.
We all sin and fall short of the glory of God. Don’t let others sin hurt you!
Romans 8:5 "Those who live according to the sinful nature have their minds set on what that nature desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their mind set on what the Spirit desires. 6 The mind of the sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace, 7 the sinful mind is hostile toward God. It does not submit to God's law, nor can it do so. 8 Those controlled by the sinful nature cannot please God." A friend of mine was talking about someone that can not seem to leave her destructive life choices alone. This persons addiction is impacting my friends Heath. We all have sin!! Not one of us have all good life choices!!! We stay in our poor choices because we are comfortable in the familiar. Changing our lives is hard work and even scary. We can not control other peoples behavior. We can control how we let their behaviors affect our lives. Alanon is a group formed to help loved ones of alcoholics manage life regardless of their very sick loved one. I mention this group to illustrate that it’s a huge problem for many people dealing with other peoples sinful behavior. We all have sin!!! Through Jesus we can let go of our sin and be filled with His righteousness. We can only control ourselves, be inspired to look at your own sin and ask God for His help, to turn from it and turn to Him. Ask Him to help your loved ones do the same and simply TRUST He will. God works in His timing and His ways. During your waiting may you stay hopeful!! Romans 8:25 “But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait patiently for it.”πππ¦ πΈ❤️π♀️

When upu “ Long” long for Jesus instead and you’ll be filled.
Do you ever long to be in the presence of an other humane being? Maybe they have passed, maybe they are far away, physically, mentally or spiritually but for whatever reason you long for them? I think that is how we are to feel about being in Gods presence. " In your presence Lord is where I long to be". This prayer keeps me focused on being the woman God created me to be and not one chasing after my lustful desires. When I find myself longing for anything aside from God. I try to hit the "STOP" button and refocus on His prescence so I am filled from within not looking for something or someone to fill me. Only when I am full in Jesus can I actually be fully equipped in my present life. His word says to seek Him first and He will give us the desires of our hearts. I hope this helps you, be filled from within, so you can be full to over flowing!!!πππ¦ πΈ❤️. Matthew 6:33 "Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added unto you." John 7:37 "On the last and greatest day of the feast, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, "If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. 38 Whoever believes in me , as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him."

We are made to Thrive!! Not nearly survive.
Colossians 1:21-3"And you, who once were alienated and hostile in mind, doing evil deeds, 22 He has now reconciled in His body of flesh by His death, in order to present you Holy and blameless and above reproach before Him, 23 if indeed you continue in faith, stable and steadfast, not shifting from the hope of the Gospel that you heard, which has been proclaimed in all creation under Heaven, and which I, Paul, became a minister." Stable! Steadfast! Not shifting from Hope of the Gospel!!! Wow!!! Not shifting from hope, stable, steadfast!! I love this!!! That's a lot of explanation points. It's so powerful. Our humanity allows us only to see a limited view. These verses remind me to hold fast unto the Hope we have in Jesus! He is the way the truth and the light. He's got this and all things. Be encouraged to be thankful and hopeful today. It's not what we see....it's His eyes that see the big picture. Faith, Hope and Thanksgiving are powerful tools to thrive!!!ππ¦ ππΈ❤️We were made to Thrive!!!!

Power on our knees
I took 1st in my age group. Lots of tuff paddling. Much from my knees. Most people were on their knees. I kept telling everyone. There is power in our knees through Jesus!!! ππ¦ ππ♀️❤️πΈthanks so much for your prayers. I felt His power and strength and love for others in my intense paddle. I'm so very very thankful!!!π. Praise the Lord!!!
1 Timothy 2:1-2 " I urge, then first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people-for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. " I passed about five women on the home stretch against heavy winds as d waves on my knees!! Isn't that just cool? Be inspired to pray and trust Jesus!!

Love others, as Jesus loves us
John 15:12 " My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you." This has been on my heart all week. Today is my race I've decided to do the intercostal race and not the Ocean. I need to develop a better skill set to tackle the Ocean. We are predicted to have heavy wind going against it will be almost like standing still. Sometimes when we love others we don't "see" a difference. Truly loving others with a pure heart like Jesus would. Not loving them if they behave correctly but loving them fully in the middle of their mess. That's what Jesus asks us to do. I hope that I can show love to others today as I feel like I'm standing stillππ¦ ππΈπ♀️❤️

Trust. Even in the hardest of hard
TRUST
1. Scary moments of life, death and the unsure in between. 2. In the late dark nights of 50% decisions. 3. In the short breaths of panic. 4 In the waiting, not-peace, not-action time. This is what our Lovey Erin wrote on the back of her Sunday bulletin three years ago today. She was a Cardiology PA and had lots of tough choices many times but that day she was dealing with her own, she didn’t know it but she had formed massive pulmonary embolisms. Which caused her physical passing. It’s so hard to loose a loved one especially someone so Lovely, young and beautiful. She just radiated the love of the Lord. I discribe her as “ lovely”. Not many people can be discribed with that word. TRUST is the word aside from the name of Jesus that comforts me In Erin’s diary she wrote Jeremiah 17:7-8. She said, I want to be like that tree… today be inspired that in your best or worse to be like this tree. Let your roots grow deep in Jesus. Trust!!! Jeremiah 17:7-8”But blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, who’s confidence is in Him. 8 He will be like a tree planted by the water that that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; it’s leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of draught and never fails to bear fruit.” TRUST , no worries, let your leaves always be green and continue to bear fruit no matter what your draught may be!!!ππ¦ πΈπ❤️

Count the cost
Psalm89:5 " You rule over the surging sea; when the waves mount up, you still them." .....21"My hand will sustain him;surely my arm will strengthen him." Today the swells in the ocean and the winds are increasing. The forecast for my race Saturday is more of the same, plus some. I am really wanting to do this event since I have put so very much effort into training and traveling. Yet, even though I know God will be with me, I am considering moving to the easier race. Discernment, we all need to count the costs of what we do and decide if what we do, is worth it. Do we honor God in what we do? That is what makes things"worth it". Discernment with Jesus as our guide. ". Here are the words of Jesus: Luke 14:28 -31 "Suppoe one of you wants to build a tower. Will he not first sit down and count the cost to see if he had enough money to complete it? 29 For if he lays the foundation and is not able to finish it, everyone who sees it will ridicule him, 30 saying, " This fellow began to build and was not able to finish." ". Count the cost..... finish what we start That's the message I'm hearing today. Discernment for what we start, honor the Lord our God in all we think say and do....He will make our paths clear. πππ¦ π♀️πΈ❤️

My Fathrr, my God, my Rock, my Savior!!
Psalm 89:26 "He will call out to me, " You are my Father, my God, the Rock, my Savior." Call out to God!! " Jesus, I need a little help!" Is one of my favorites. Or simply calling His name, Jesus. So many things are beyond my abilities but His hand is never too short. Today, I will try to use this verse; "You are my Father, my God, the Rock, my Savior." To help me remember He is with us always!!! ( Mathew 28:20). Let's be strong in Jesus today!! Shine!!!πππ¦ πΈ❤️

Being sure of what we do not see!
Hebrews 11:1-3 "Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. 2 This is what the ancients were commanded for. 3 By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God's command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible." -----6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him." Faith in what is not seen! Powerful!! Hebrews Chapter 11 is a great faith chapter. I'm in NC getting ready for the Carolina Cup. The race I'm doing is called "The Graveyard" it's called that because the surf can make your board go straight up and down like a tomb stone. Yikes!!! I want to try this. Yet getting into the ocean is a much different experience then paddling lakes and rivers. For courage I'm remembering that God is with me always. He has given me a great amount of physical, mental and faith based strength. Let’s be encouraged to keep the faith, in all our challenges. In order to conquer any challenge, we have to have Faith with God we can!!!!ππ♀️ππ¦ πΈ❤️ Be strong and courageous in Jesus today and always!!

No worries even in poor decisions
1Peter 5:7 " Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you." As I travel it's easy to think, I should have ..... but I am trying to let my yes be yes and my no be no, and TRUST God will work all my choices out for His glory, as I keep Him front and center in my life. I will and do make poor choices. I love that God saw all of them before I was born and chose to birth me anyway. He has a plan in all I go through and do, as He does for you. Let's rest today in TRUSTING God. He's got this!!! ππ¦ ππΈ❤️

Sleaze the day
Hebrews 4:7 “God again set a certain day, calling it “today”. This He did when a long time later He spoke through David, as in the passage already quoted; “Today, if you here His voice do nothing to harden your hearts” I’m tent camping at Cloudland Stare park. It was 43 degrees when I woke up and the raccoons had gotten into my dry food. An other lesson learned. Seize the day today. When I read Gods word I get uplifted remembering He is with me always and I am to keep on keeping on even in not ideal conditions. Truth is. I don’t know many that have” ideal conditions “. Be inspired to seize your day!!ππ¦ ππΈ❤️

He knows our desires better than we do!
Psalm 37:4 "Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart." Sometimes I get impatient while I wait to recieve the desires of my heart from God. Then when I think about it those moments I'm not delighting in Him I'm anxious because I'm not getting what I want. If I truly delight in Him then I am to enjoy the journey, He has for me. Today I'm walk in tent camping in GA. Something I have never done. It's so peaceful I am blessed to remember; exhale, enjoy the journey , His way not yours. I hope this helps you too be content in your current situation and know if you truly delight in Him He will give you the desire of your heart. Thing is. He knows your hearts desires better than you do!!!ππ¦ π❤️πΈ

Be His Sons shine!
Psalm 103:1. "Praise the Lord, O my soul; all my inmost being, praise His Holy Name." Yesterday on the River I stated singing this song, “ Praise the Lord O my soul O o my soul worship His holy name”. I love this!! It helped me so very much yesterday. And also yesterday’s verse, Jesus is my strength forever!! I finished very well a top ten finish in Charta Jacks!!! There are lots of nationally ranked women here so that was a very strong finish. I was # 9 and finished my31 mile paddle in 5:25 I felt the strength of Jesus with me the whole way!!! Praise the Lord!!! I thought along my race of how He helps me in all things. I tried to spread His love. One guy said. “There’s that Ray of sun shine.” I said yes!! I’m spreading His Sons shine!! Thank you Jesus for this beautiful day!!! Today be inspired to go be His Sons Shine!!!πππ¦ ❤️πΈ. No matter how tuff your paddle

The Lord is everlasting strength!
Isaiah 26:4 " Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord is everlasting strength." I will use this verse in my paddle today. 31 miles down a river is easy compared to the really tuff challenges we face each day. I hope you can use this verse in your battle. Let's go forward with the strength of Jesus. No matter what our challenge. He is stronger!! He is with us always!!!!πππ¦ πΈ❤️

Even a fail is a win!!
Proverbs 16:3. "Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed." Today. I'm getting ready for my 31 mile paddle board race down the TN river in the Chattanooga Gorge. I'm excited and nervous. Nervous that I won't make the cut offs and won't perform as well as I am hoping. Today as I read this. I am remembering; if in all my contacts with people, I walk in the light of Jesus, then my race will be a success. That's true of my every day life. What ever I do if I do it with the Lord in mind. I get back on track and even if I have a "fail" I have a WIN!! ππ¦ π❤️πΈ

O You, who hear prayer!
Psalm 65:1-4. "Praise awaits you O God, in Zion; to you our vows will be fulfilled 2 O you who hear prayer, to you all men will come. 3 when we were overwhelmed by sins, you forgave our transgressions 4 Blessed are those you choose." To you who hear π prayer! God hears our prayers!!! Sometimes I get disheartened because of the prayers God seemingly hasn't answered. But truly if I believe what I say I believe I have to TRUST that He is hearing all my prayers and answering each and every one of them. Gods ways are greater then my ways. His answers are right even when I don't want what has happened. To be healthy I have to TRUST God hears and answers all my prayers. " O you who hear prayer". Thank you all for your prayers for my Father and Lise. My dad is doing better. They continue to have a long road a head, but truly we have hope for a good recovery. Praise the Lord!! Thank you for your prayers. πππ¦ πΈ❤️

Praise from God?
John 5:44 "How can you believe if you accept praise from one an other, yet make no effort to obtain the praise that comes from the only God." Praise from God? All my works are like filthy rags but who I am in Jesus is praise worthy. This verse is helping me hit reset this morning. I am worthy, beautiful and praise worthy when it's Jesus in me. It's Jesus who takes my sin and gives me His right standing with God. Not my works or my ways His finished work on the cross His ways in my heart. I am a new creation in Jesus. Because He lives in Me because He lives in us we are praise worthy from the only God!! Wow. What a concept to hold onto. When I look at me. I am certainly not praise worthy but when I look at Jesus in me I can know full well that God is pleased not because of me, but because of Him. Today be inspired to "know" Christ is in you making you "Right" with God!!! Praise the Lord!!!ππΈ❤️π¦ π

More then enough
John 6:9 " Here is a boy with five small barley loaves and two small fish, but how far will they go among so many? 10 Jesus said, "Have the people sit down." There was plenty of grass in that place, and the men sat down about five thousand of them. 11Jesus then took the loaves, gave thanks and distributed to those who were seated as much as they wanted He did the same with the fish. 12 When they has all enough to eat, he said to his disciples, "Gather the pieces that are left over. Let nothing be wasted." Wow! Jesus took almost nothing, gave thanks and turned it into more then enough!! That's what Jesus does for me. Many times I feel like nothing, that I'm just not enough and I can't do it, then Jesus. He takes what little I have and makes it enough, more then enough!! When I was so broken I didn't think I could ever be okay He met me there too. He is with us always, making the little we have more than enough!!! π❤️ππ¦ πΈ

Be bold!!
Philippians 1:14 "Because of my chains, most of the brothers in the Lord have been encouraged to speak the word of God more courageously and fearlessly." Speak the word of God courageously and fearlessly!!! This takes practice in out politically correct environment. I think of our brothers and sisters in Afganastan and their boldness. Sometimes I'm not as bold as I could be. I hold back on speaking boldly because I think the person I am talking to " doesn't want to hear it". I so admire the Christians that are like Billy Grahm. Bold!!! My theme in Faith Centered Fitness is," actively use the word of God in your daily speech so you can truly engage your faith and truly be fit in all areas of your life!!" Today be inspired to boldly speak the word of God out loud. Pick a favorite Bible verse and see how many times you can use it in your regular conversations. One of my favorites to use is Philippians 4:13 " I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength." π❤️ππ¦ πΈπ

Simply amazing
I'm up at the lake and loving it!! I always look out on the night before I go to sleep and take in one last look at the moon, stars and lake before I sleep. The last two nights have been magnificent!! Two nights ago during my quick look, I saw two shooting stars and last night the northern lights. How utterly amazing God is. He knows every star in the sky and every hair on each of our heads. It's simply mind blowing and way beyond my ability to understand. Today, I am inspired to simply TRUST in His amazingness. Psalm 146:5 " Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jocob, whose hope is in the Lord his God, 6 the maker of Heaven and earth, the sea and everything in them-the Lord, who remains faithful forever." Our Lord remains faithful… no matter what!! πππ¦ πΈ❤️

Facing fear with Joy
Mathew 28:8 "So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell His disciples". ....20 "and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always to the very end of the age ." Because Jesus is with us always we can be afraid yet filled with joy!! Sometimes, often, I make decisions hastily and get irritated at myself wishing I would have done things differently. During these moments no have to STOP and TRUST God in my present He knows what choices I make before I make them. He is omnipresent. He is not bound by time but see all things yesterday, today and tomorrow at all time's. Kinda mind blowing. He actively loves us through everything even hasty poor choices. When I remember this, I get back up and try again in joy not fear of my mess up. I hope this helps you move forward in Joy today and cast any fear you may have away!!!πππ¦ πΈ❤️

Worthy is the Lamb
Revelation 5:12 " In a loud voice they sang: "Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!" I love the song inspired by this verse. It's a simple praise song. When my heart and head can't understand, (which is often) I can choose to TRUST God. One thing that helps me firmly be in TRUST is praising Jesus. When I take the time to remember who He is, what He did and how He actively loves each of us so much that He died for us. It helps me have peace in my head and heart no matter what trial I'm facing. We all face trials. Each day has trouble of its own. Jesus said, "In this world you will have trouble, fear not! I have overcome the world." Even if we get 100 years here on Earth it's nothing compared to eternity. Today be inspired to take heart! Fear not! Praise the Lord! πππ¦ ❤️πΈ

Knowing when to Quit?
Hebrews 11:1 "Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see." .....11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe He exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek Him." FAITH. One of my dearest friends signs off with "keep the faith" I say I have faith, but where is my faith when I try to manipulate and control everything? I don't do this with an evil intent, as word “manipulate”might suggest. I try to take control. I have a difficult time with knowing when to quit. My montra seems to be " never give up". Eventually things will work or I'll hit a cement wall and won't be able to try anymore. Yesterday, we were going to put my sons dog Roscoe down. Things happened and we couldn't get it done yesterday and we have to wait tell Friday. In the meantime. Roscoe ate some food for me and stood up wagging his tail. So we had a glimpse of hope. We decided to try an other round of medicine on him and delay His being put down. This morning I'm wondering, am I acting in faith or simply throwing a Hail Mary. Life is full of difficult decisions and many times we don't know if we are making the right ones. What I know is if I seek Gods guidance first, it's easier for me to " keep the faith ". Today my prayer again is; “Your ways God, not mine! I TRUST you in everything. Help me Father in all my thoughts, words, deeds and decisions let what ever I do truly honor You!”ππ¦ ππΈ❤️. I hope this helps you too “keep the faith” in your difficult decisions. Roman 8:28 " And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose." This verse helps me remember that even in my " bad decisions" , God will work it out. I might have to learn a life lesson but He'll work it out for His glory. ππ¦

Better Together!
Hebrews 10:25 "Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another --and all the more as you see the day approaching." Ecclesiastes 4:12 "Though one may be over powered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken." Better together!! For me to stay healthy and well I need to 1. Seek fist the kingdom of God and His righteousness ( Matthew 6:33) and 2 stay in Fellowship with like minded believers. We are not called to battle alone but to bond together and build each other up. Today let's each be encouraged to build at least one other person up in faith! Better together! ππ¦ ππΈ❤️

Discernment
Discernment. 1 Corinthians 2:12 "We have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us." 1Corinthians 2:9 However as it is written: " No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love Him." Discernment! Today I'm at the lake it's my last week here I'll be closing it up. The leaves are in full color. It's so amazingly beautiful I keep saying oh my God, oh my God this is so beautiful!! You are such an amazing God!! I love that God shows us His glory every day. I am healthiest when I intentionally gaze upon it. Living in thankfulness of heart is seeing our circumstances though the discerning of His Holy Spirit. If you are at all struggling be inspired to pray " God fill me with your Holy Spirit, that I may see what you want me to see." I hope this lifts you up today!! Be fit and be blessed. Kimberlyππ❤️πΈπ¦

Psalm 119:9 "How Can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word. 10 I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your commands." Psalm 119 is so beautiful!!! It's Long and extraordinary. It takes a while to read it and always worth my time. That's the way many good things are. They take time, but it's worth it! Today be inspired to be patient and wait on God. He has our best interests in mind, He is the rewarder of those who diligently seek Him . ππ¦ ππΈ❤️

Cheerful giving? Is from the heart
2 Corinthians 9:7 "Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." A cheerful giver!πOften we think of money when we think of giving. Giving is so much more then money. We have been gifted time, talents, compassion, mercy and much, much more through the powerful gift of Jesus. I think being a good steward of our lives includes cheerfully giving of ourselves in many ways. When I give reluctantly it's never as effective as when I give cheerfully. After all we are to do all things for the glory of God!! I hope this helps you todayπππ¦ ❤️πΈ.

Keep doing the Lord work! It’s not in vain
1 Corinthians 15:58 "Therefore my dear brothers stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain." Yesterday, I got the phone call from the vet that was doing Isabelle's surgery and she said, " we can't stop her bleeding, if you can you should come now." I cried so much on the way to the vet, I didn't feel ready to loose my beloved pet. It was a one of our last beautiful days this fall and I spent it by the side of my furry companion in a small vet examining room. Isabelle did perk up when I came in the room and the vet assured me she knew I was there. When she sent Isabell home with me last night. She said, I'll be praying she makes it through the night, what ever " prayer " is. I took the opportunity to tell her a little about faith. Not a preachy sermon , just an introduction to its power and comfort. This morning my Isabelle is still here. She did make it through the night. I will get an other opportunity to talk about faith, but even if I my Isabelle passed yesterday, I TRUST that God has His hand on it all. No matter what our circumstances be inspired to keep doing what you know is the "Lords work"πππ¦ πΈ❤️

Taking away the pain
Today my almost 17 year old puppy Isabell. My " sobriety dog" is having her teeth removed. It's a simple surgery and I'm confident she'll survive. But I have been very unsure it's the right decision. I've not done a good job about praying about it. I have trusted my friend who is the vet and heard others tell me she'll feel better. I might only get an other year or so with her, so why put her through this? Mainly to relive her pain because otherwise she seems very healthy. Relieve our pain!! I have had some personal pain lately. When I woke in the middle of the night not able to sleep I went to read my Bible to see what God would tell me. I landed on Jeremiah 17:7-8. "Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord....". TRUST helps me in my pain. In order for me to TRUST I have to seek council in His Word. It's the only way I have found to be sure of the Answers. Mathew 6:33"Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added unto you." Today give your pain, to Jesus he'll take it and give you His righteousness!! Praise the Lord for the simple Gospel!!!! It helps the pain!!ππ¦ πΈπ❤️

I have a plaque on my night stand that says,"life on earth is soon to pass only what's done for Christ will last". 1 John 3:1 " How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called the children of God!And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know Him." We are the children of God!! Because my last name is “Mathews”, Sometimes people will ask me if I'm related to “Mathews Bow” here in Sparta. I say, “no but I know them and they are a really good family. They are a very giving, community minded, Christian, family and I'd love to be a part of their family.” Sometimes “ families “ have a reputation. Today let’s help build the good reputation of our Christian family so more people will want to be a part of our family! ππ Let’s walk in the love of Jesus not the love of this worldπππ¦ ❤️πΈ

Walk forward
Philippians 4:13 "Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead. 14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus." Letting go and pressing forward is the key to being fully present. As Christians we walk in continual forgiveness. It doesn't give us a ticket to keep sinning but a conviction to keep trying to do life, in the love of Jesus. 2Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore if anyone is in Christ he is a new creation, the old has gone the new has come!" When I first quit drinking my kids would say, “ yeah mom, you say that but remember…….” I would say, “ Yes, I remember doing that and I am sorry. I have been forgiven through Jesus and I hope you can forgive me too. I am no longer that person I am a new creation in Jesus, that mom is gone! So please don’t hold her against me now “. I meant that. I owned my horrible behavior and moved forward in a new direction. It took a while for my children to Trust that I wasn’t planning to return to my old ways. But eventually they started seeing me in a new light. Immediately Jesus saw me in a new light. Immediately as I believed upon Him as my Savior; I became a new creation so immediately I could say. “ that’s not me anymore!”. It’s a beautiful thing to not be defined by you past but be pressing forward to the high calling of God. How are you doing today in living in your present moments with Jesus? I have to remind myself of this often. It’s true we are made new every moment of every day. TRUSTππ¦ π❤️πΈ

Live in the “ Wow”
Breath taking moments and moments of loneliness and despair, Jesus is with us always! ( Matthew 28:20 " Lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age) I prefer the breath taking moments, the moon shimmering over the lake, the sunrise and set, and the moments of "Wow"on my bicycle! The glory of the warmth of the sun reminds me of the true warmth of the "Son". It's easy to get discouraged by the many tough times we face, today let's look up so we can keep our chins up. There is beautiful in many things. See it and thank God for it. I promise you, this very act of seeing the beautiful and living in Thanksgiving, even in the midst of our hardships helps us helps us be truly well. John 14:1 "Do not let your hearts be troubled , trust in God; trust also in me." (words of Jesus). TRUST!!

Happy Harvest!!
Happy first day of Fall! When I think of Fall I think of the harvest. Up here in Northern Minnesota much of the "Harvest" from our local gardens is in and eaten. I love the fresh food from my garden. But it's only a temporary season. My Grandma Holt made sure I was in Sunday school and got confirmed. She knew I needed the fruit that will last. Many times our Christian study walk can end after confirmation class. Today, be inspired to focus on the season that won't pass your Christian walk with Jesus. No matter what happens around you His love is constant. We need not fear death because through Jesus it is the beginning of the most amazing season ever
John 15:16 "you did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go bear fruit-fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. 17 This is my command: Love each other."

Fear Not!!
Jesus said in John 16:30 " I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world ". I love this verse!!! In this world we will have trouble but take heart! In some translations it says Fear not! Sometimes when trouble comes I envision the worse case scenario and then see Jesus in it. When Jesus is in it it no longer is the worse case scenario. Years ago my son Chan took off on his crotch rocket after 10:30 pm in the Summer. I was a mess, I stopped and prayed and said, Jesus, even if he is lying in a field dead I trust you are with him. I was able to then sleep and my sleep was sweet as Psalm 3 promises us. We all face trouble but we never have to face it alone!! Mathew 28:20 "Lo, I am with you always even to the end of the age." ( Also the words of Jesusπ)

Peace, peace peace in out hearts so it can be in our homes
Jesus said in John 14;27. "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." "Peace, peace peace on earth, this is a time for joy, this is a time for love we all come together for peace peace peace on earth" these are some of my favorite lyrics. PEACE ☮️. I was a teenager in the 70's we used to hold up the peace sign to each other, it was born out of political opposition to the Vietnam war. Politics seem to really be dividing our country and even families Today let's be encouraged to love eachother regardless of politics. No matter how politically charged someone is; it's of this world and this world is only a temporary place. We have Heaven to look forward to. Today know the words of a Jesus; " Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you." Look upon each other with love and joy; truly this simple act will help us be healthy in our hearts more then being “right” or “left”.

Change of season
This morning, the warm south wind is picking up over the lake and sun is starting to rise. It reminds me of Florida. I love the smell of the water, warm breeze and the hope I feel with every Sun Rise.π. Today is Sept 19th, not many of these morning left this season. Fall officially begins in a few days. As much as I love Summer, to be wishing for it all year long would have me stuck. I chose a to embrace the change of seasons. Each has its own glory. Life has seasons too, may we choose to embrace where we are and do all things for the Glory of God!! Philippians 4:13 " I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength."

Saving Faith
Hebrews 11:1 " Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. "
Faith, without faith it is impossible to please God! True Faith, is unconditional. Many situations are not as we want them, but we can TRUST God through them; He is working a good work in us, in the middle of what ever we are facing. Today "keep the faith" ; know all things work together, to help us be more like Christ. (Romans 8:29). This temporary world is only our training Ground for the glory that awaits us. (Romans 8:18)

Speak life with Godly wisdom
James 3:17 " But the wisdom that comes from Heaven is first of all pure; then peace loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. Peace makers who sow in peace raise a harvest of righteousness." This verse really helps me look at my motives. It goes with Psalm 46:10 " Be still and know that I am God." Today I pray peace, mercy and sincerity of heart guide our thoughts and our tongues. James chapter 3 really emphasizes how important it is to control our tongues. I personally find that when I speak negitive thoughts and complain it's hard to be peace-loving and full of mercy. Speaking the wrong things produces a quoralsome spirit in me. Today, let's speak life, so we can live in Godly wisdom !!! πππ¦ ❤️πΈ

Christ centered teammates
Ecclesiastes 4:10-12 "if one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up! 11 Also if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? 12 Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves a cord of three strands is not quickly broken." These verses remind me of how important it is to have teammates in life. Christ centered teammates. This life has much joy and also much tragedy, the only way I know to stay "Fit" through it all is to be focused on Jesus and His love for us through it all. It's easier for me to stay strong in my faith and therefore strong in all things when I; 1. Read and meditate on His word( the Bible) daily. 2. Have friends in Christ, that encourage me in His word. 3 Remeber, no matter what I face and how alone I may feel, I am never alone Jesus is with me always. My constant team mate! ( Mathew 6:33"Lo, I am with you always even to the end of the age."). Today be inspired to be a good, Christ centered teammate to those in your life, remembering always Jesus Himself is your constant companion, the head of your team!!!!πππ¦ ❤️πΈ

“Shut up legs!”
Last weekend I was at a Bike ride in Door County, Wi. Before the ride a group of us spoke of how important it is to use scripture verses in our daily lives so we can engage our faith and truly be fit in all things. We used an example of being tired on the bike ride and instead of saying, "Shut up legs!" , we could say, Philippians 4:13 " I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength." Later after the ride, many of us were watching the sunset; one lady said, what would be the perfect verse for this moment? I said, how about, " Be still and know that I am God." Plasm 46:10? This morning I'm reading psalm 40:5 "Many, O Lord my God, are the wonders you have done. The things you have planned for us no one can recount to you; were I would speak and tell of them, they would be too many to declare." There are so many beautiful things and wonders in our everyday lives. Sometimes we just look at what's wrong. Today be inspired to Thank God for what's right. Use His verses to do so. It will fill you with hope, I know so!!πππ¦ ❤️πΈ

I believe, help me with my unbelief!
Mark 9:24 "if you can?" said Jesus. Everything is possible for him who believes" 24 Immediately the boys father exclaimed, "I do believe, help me overcome my unbelief!" I have had so many seemingly unanswered prayers, sometimes I feel like; Gods not going to do this why am I even asking? But I said "seemingly"unanswered prayers. When we pray God hears us, when we pray through Jesus. He does answer all our prayers too. Just not in our timing or our ways. His ways are above our ways we can't possibly understand his ways but we can TRUST. In order for me to be “Fit” in Faith many times I have to cry out, “ Lord, I believe, help me with my unbelief.” TRUSTπ❤️ππΈπ¦

Purity of heart
John 4:24 "God is Spirit, and His worshipers must worship Him in Spirit and truth." John 4:34 "My food", Jesus said, " Is to do the will of Him who sent me and to finish His work." These two verses remind me of sincerity of heart. To truly worship God in our inner most being and to truly try to serve Him with a pure heart. God sees our hearts!! ❤️π. I have been a Christian for a long time, yet I still have to keep a "heart check". Am I going through the motions, or am I living this life with a true, worshiping servants heart? It's a continual process for me, when I'm in the "zone" of having my head and my heart on TRUSTING Jesus and serving Him I have the " good energy" to get my work done. I hope you like this perspective too and He is the one feeding you today!! π❤️π¦ ππΈ

Rescued and made right!
Colossians 1:13 "For He has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son He loves, 14 in whom we ha e redemption, for the forgiveness of sins." Out of the darkness into the light!! Praise the Lord!!! In today’s world there are so many many rules. It’s easy to catch people breaking “ the rules”. I can’t possibly have good enough behavior to be perfect. No one can. I love the saying, “ the last guy who was perfect, they hung on a cross.” For me to stay hopeful everyday I have to keep turning my darkness over to Jesus and keep accepting my right standing with God through Him. Not by things I’ve done but what God has done for me. When I look at what’s right and the beautiful He puts in me. I am inspired to walk in that beautiful and leave the darkness behind. Certainly things happen and I am tempted to go the wrong direction but when I keep pressing toward the mark, through the strength and perseverance I have in Jesus. I have the energy to keep on keeping on! I hope this helps you today too to let go of the dark and walk in His light!! We are forgiven and made right with God every moment of every day, no matter what by the powerful gift of Jesus!!!πππ¦ πΈ❤️

Loving you through it!
Romans 8:16 "The Spirit Himself testifies with our Spirit that we are Gods children." Isaiah 49:15 "Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you. 16 See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me." Isaiah 59:1 "Surely the arm of the Lord is not to short! To save, nor His ear to dull to hear." These verses are helping me remember today that even when I start chasing the wrong things God's hand is not too short and He loves me so enough to real me back in. I am His Beloved child. You are His beloved child! There is nothing that can separate us from the love of Jesus. Today be inspired to simply TRUST in His intimate love for you!!! God's got this too!! He is loving you through it!!ππ¦ π❤️πΈ

There is a light at the end of the tunnel
Romans 8:18 " I consider the present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us." Someone I love is facing a big battle with Cancer. The treatment plan although not yet finalized promises to be a difficult one. We don't have to look to far to see " hard roads". In my hard, I like to remember, His grace is sufficient for me His power is made perfect in my weakness. Today I hope this helps you hold on to remembering our present sufferings are not worth comparing to the glory that will be revealed in us!ππΈππ¦ ❤️

Take a field put on the new
Ephesians 4:22 "you were taught with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires. 23 to be made new in the attitudes of your minds; 24 and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness. ". Take off the old and put on the new through the powerful gift of Jesus!!!π. When I am tempted to think defeat, I shake it off and look to victory. When dieting or staring a moving program many people get defeated and give up. But never give up!! Keep on keeping on in the strength and forgiveness of Jesus. Yesterday, 10 years ago and five minutes ago are just as over as 30 years ago. Today be inspired to to let go of what ever it is that is holding you back and put on your new self every moment of every day. Sanctification is a process until we get to Heaven. Keep on keeping on in the renewing of your mind in Christ. No matter what!! πππ❤️π¦ πΈ

Just do it! For Jesusπ
Colossians 3:17 " And whatever you do, whether in word or deed , do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him."
Give thanks in all things and what ever we do do it unto our Lord. A friend of mine is really good at discipline. Self control is one of the fruits of the Holy Spirit. I have self control in many areas but I often put off the work I don't feel like doing. When ever I do get my "work " done I love the accomplishment it's the getting started that is so hard especially on a beautiful day. When I look at my work as opportunity to serve Jesus it helps me with motivation. What ever God has put upon your heart to do , be encouraged to " just do it! " For Him

A cheerful heart is good medicine
Proverbs 17:22 "A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones." Everyday I have the opportunity to Choose how I think about things. I can see what's right or what's wrong. Whatever I gaze upon grows. That's why I have to be so careful with what I let myself think. There is a verse in Proverbs that states,"As a man thinks in his heart, so is he." Today, be inspired to think on what is right, pure, lovely, admirable excellent and praise worthy. (Philippians 4:8). It's tempting to think defeat, but there is nothing profitable about wrong thinking. Even if you do get defeated from time to time and you will. Pick up and go after your next victory. A cheerful heart is good medicine π

Fresh start!! Joy comes in the morning!!
Psalm 51:10 “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.” Oh, to desire what God desires for me and not to worry about it. To 100% be pure in heart and have a steadfast spirit, how wonderful that will be!. Last night I was very tired and before I went to bed I was a bit tearful, but a friend reminded me a good night sleep can really help things. Today as I watch the sunrise I am choosing Joy. It’s easier to think straight when you are well rested. Sleep experts say we need 7-10 hours of in interrupted sleep daily, in a quiet dark environment. Many people never get this they sleep with their TV s or cell phones beeping by their heads all night long. Prolonged sleep deprivation manifests itself in all kinds of health problems one of them being chronic obesity. For me it really shows up in being overwhelmed. Today I hope you’ve had a great nights sleep and you are ready to take on your day with the Joy of Jesus!!!π

Jerimiah 17:7-8
Jeremiah 17:7-8 "But blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in Him. 8 He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; it's leaves are always green. It has no worries in the year of drought and never fails to bear fruit." May your leaves be green and may you produce much fruit, through the strength and protection of our loveing Lord , Jesus ChristπππΈπ¦ ❤️

Well Done?
Romans 12:5 "So in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. 6 We have different gifts according to the grace given to us. If a man's gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his faith. 7 If it is serving let him serve; if it is teaching, let him teach; 8 if it is encouraging, let him encourage; if it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously; if it is leadership let him govern diligently; if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully." We are one body with many parts, let's be encouraged to use our talents to edify each other. We all have different talents, it's beautiful!! Today let's encourage each other, to use those talents for His glory!! Let's be the servant Jesus can say, well done, good and faithful servant!!!ππ❤️π¦ πΈ

Joyfully hopeful in Jesusπ
Romans 12:12 " Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. 13 Share with God's people who are in need. Practice hospitality." Be joyful in hope!!! This really hit me today. Yesterday a friend of mine said, " you the most hopeful person I know". I smiled at that. It was very nice to be identified with hopeful. Life is certainly full of obstacles and I'm 59 that same friend pointed out if I don't have the things I hope for now. Maybe I won't get them, so what?π. I TRUST that God will give me everything that He knows I need and that will help me walk a closer walk with Him. This closer walk helps me help others. This closer walk keeps me hopeful. Which is a joyful place to be in JesusπππΈ❤️π¦ . I hope this helps you to remember to be hopeful no matter what things look like from your humane perspective.

Conqueror in all weather!!
Romans 8:37 “No, in all things we are more than conquerors through Him who loves us!!” Today I’m doing a triathlon with a paddle. I’m excited but the winds are high and the temperature is cooler. Philippians 4:13 “ I can do all things through Him who gives me strength.” A conqueror in Jesus. This event today is just a recreational event so, no stress. But sometimes patience, kindness and understanding in my daily life if much harder then fighting waves and wind. Today. Be a conqueror in Jesus, no matter what the challenge is you face. Matthew 28:20 “Lo, I am with you always, even to the end of of the age.” ( those are the words of Jesus). He is with us!! Let’s be conquerors!!πππΈ❤️π¦

“Be”
Good Morning!! Just Be!! This morning I am reading the Beatitudes in Mathew 5 I'm a very good doer but sometimes my "be" is a bit off. Only, when I have a pure heart while I am doing good; do my efforts really seem joyful. Many times if I'm feeling "off" in my well doing I have to hit STOP button and ask the Holy Spirit to guide me, fill my heart with pure intentions, sometimes I simply call on the name of the Lord. Jesus, Jesus. It's my most simple prayer and brings me back to “being” in Him, Then my works are truly with pure intent. I hope this helps you today too.... just "Be" before you start you Do. ππ❤️πΈπ¦
In order for me to "Be" right I have to set my eyes upon the Lord!! Matthew 6:22 "The eye is the lamp of the body. If you eyes are good your whole body will be full of light. 23 But if your eyes are bad, your whole body will be full of darkness If then the light within you is darkness how great is that darkness!" Be careful what you gaze at it will effect your “Be”!π

Holy hands
Psalm 63:4 " I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name, I will lift up my hands." I lift you up with Holy hands π. Try it, raise your hands, look up and say, thank you Jesus! Praise Him with your hands lifted high! It's truly a wonderful feeling!! π.

Healing is real!
Jeremiah 17:14 "Heal me, O Lord and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise." It's all because of Jesus! It's His sacrifice for us sinners on the cross and His resurrection that blesses us with eternal life and the ultimate healing! Heaven is the reward for those who diligently seek Him, that's what it means when the Bible says "oh death where is your sting". There is a song, "Even when the healing doesn't come". Many times here on earth we don't see the physical or emotional healing. In Jesus when we die we live. John 11:25 "Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies." I'm so very thankful for the Gospel!! Our healing is real!! His way, His timing.... TRUST π❤️ππΈπ¦

Listen… through the Word then speak
Acts 4:29 "Now Lord, consider their threats and enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness." A dear friend of mine said, "I wish God would just talk to me and tell me what to do!" I said, "He does, through His word, the Bible." If He talks to you through the TV or other crazy ways in might be time for meditation π. All joking aside God speaks to us loudly through His Word. When you have an issue. Ask God to show you in His Word the answer. Then OPEN YOUR BIBLE! That is how God will show you. First pray and ask Him for the answers, then read. I promise you He will highlight verses and make words, just pop off the page! You will find His way, when you simply ask and read π. I hope this help you. Look to God through the Bible for your annwers today and every day and boldly proclaim Biblical answers when others ask you for adviseπππ¦ ❤️πΈ

Recognize a toxic thought and repent
2 Corinthians 7:1 " Since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God." I think what contaminates me the most can be my run away brain. In the AA program we call it " Stinkin Thinking". I have to be careful on how I think and repentant, with a sincere heart asking God to help my heart be pure and desire only what He desires for me. π A dear friend of mine is Catholic and said it helps him to go to confession once a week. As a Lutheran I have been taught to take my confessions right to Jesus. Confession is important to our souls 2 Corinthians 7:10 "Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leads no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death. ". I am so thankful God has put a desire in my heart to continually recognize toxic thoughts and actions and try my best to let them go and press forward daily with a renewed, forgiven spirit!!! 2 Corinthians 5:17” Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation, the old has gone the new is come!” Confession and accepting Jesus forgiveness is the basis of my health and Welness!!

Be held
Yesterday was an emotional day for me. When I was at my loved ones home there were lots of hugs and that was so comforting as I trembled in tears. At the end of my day I came home and longed to be "held". Then I realized I am being " Held. God has me safely under His wing and all I have done or left undone is going to be OK. Mistakes, sins and failures and triumphs all work together for His glory and I can not see the Forest through the trees sometimes, but I can TRUST God always can. Our God is an awesome God and He Knows..... we can't possible know, but we can TRUST. He takes our mess and makes it our message and when life is not as we think it should be and we break in emotional tremble let’s remember we are not alone!! He is holding us. I hope this helps you be strong today. He is holding you and always. He is holding the ones you love… you can trust God loves your loved ones even more then you do. We are safe in Our Father's arms always, especially in our passing through the powerful gift of Jesus!! Be held π❤️ππ¦ πΈ
Thanksπ. Psalm 61:4 “ I long to dwell in your tent forever and take refuge in the shelter of your wings.” Psalm 91:1 “ He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.” I also love these words of Jesus in Matthew 28:20 “ Lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”πππ¦

No regrets? …Trust God in all things
Today I'm going to visit someone dear to me who is actively dying. When faced with the passing of someone I love, part of my grief is regret. I wish I would have..... but we can't would have or should have, anything. What holds me, in the comfort of our Loving Fathers arms, is knowing, He saw my everyday before I was born and chose to birth me anyways. (Psalm 139). He can take all the things I do and don't get done and work them out for His glory. ( Romans 8:28) Thanks be to God, He puts a desire in my heart(The Holy Spirit) to "keep on keeping on". trying my best to follow Jesus. I have to TRUST in Gods plans not mine. He can see the big picture not me. He can be trusted. If I truly believe Heaven is for real then my loved ones passing is her reward for seeking Him. I hope you like this perspective today too. And helps you not have would have or should haves. But just love those in your life to the full while they are with you. π❤️ππΈπ¦ Jeremiah 29:11 " "For I know the plans I have for you",declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 The. You will call upon me and come and pray to me and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when your seek me with all of uour heart."❤️

Got a log in your eye?
Matthew 7:3 "Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brothers eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4 How can you say to your brother,"Let me take the speck out of your eye, when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brothers eye. ". This weekend I realized I was holding my sister to a higher standard then I was living. We have been living together for a few months and recently my heart started criticism, when we talked about the" little things" that I was getting annoyed with she pointed out I do the same things and possibly to a greater degree. Wow. I was trying to take the speck out of my sisters eye while all the time I had a plank in my own. People who are married have the benefit of their spouse helping to sharpen their saw. I've been single for many years and I am now realizing how potentially difficult I can be. I think it's cool how God uses our present situations to teach us to be more like Jesus. Today, my heart is full of love and compassion as I realize none of us are perfect in fact we all fall short all the time. Have compassion, grace and mercy for yourself and others. ...... keep trying the journey is worth itπ. We are saved by grace not by works but truly trying to be more like Jesus seems to keep me humble and I think easier to live with. ❤️ππ¦ πΈ

Don’t throw the pearls to pigs
Matthew 7:6 “Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet and then turn and tear you to pieces .” These are the words of Jesusπ. Recently I went to WeFest. It’s a. Country Rock outdoor concert with many bands. I saw many very pretty young girls, dressed very seductively. It reminded me of throwing your pearls to pigs. Our culture says be sexy and you’ll be the boss. I think; be smart, kind and conservative with joyful Jesus energy!! That will let you shine with the beauty that doesn’t fade ….. be very selective on who you throw your pearls too. πππ¦ πΈ❤️ Hebrews 11:1” Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.”

Create in me a clean heart O Lord!
Psalm 51:10" Create in me a pure heart, O God and renew a steadfast spirit within me. 11 Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me. 12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing Spirit to sustain me." This is so beautiful!!! Today I hope it can be each of our prayers. We all fall short. I wish my failing would be one and done,,,,but alas my sin, my failing is continual; praise the Lord, so is His Mercy!!!!πππ¦ πΈ❤️

Be the “ apple of His eye”
Psalm 18:32 " It is God who arms me with strength, and makes my way perfect 33 He makes my feet like the feet of a deer, He enables me to stand on the heights. ". Psalm 17:8 " Keep me as the apple of your eye; hide me in the shadow of your wings." Lord, give us strength, value and protection today and always, Amen! I love, that He gives us strength in our weakness! His power is made perfect in our weakness! Being an athlete, “feet run like the hinds of a deer” really translates for me in my physical endeavors. Yesterday I had a minor health scare, turned out to be a a big nothing but when considering my mortality I reflected on how I’m spending my time. I’m wanting to go “ Seize the day” lately But thinking of my family. Just evaluating if I’m really being who I am called to be, knowing I’m falling short. Today I’m inspired to get my strength from the Lord and face difficulties in relationships because I am the “ apple of His eye” He will protect me in my physical and emotional needs. I would hate to go home to Heaven and realize I hadn’t attended to my own back yard. I hope you like this today too. Be fit and be blessed. Kimberlyπ

Boldly boast!
Jeremiah 9:23 "Let not the wise man boast of his wisdom or the strong boast of his strength or the rich boast of his riches, 24 but let him who boasts boast about this; that he understands and knows me, that I am the Lord, who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth, for in these I delight." Boldly boast in Jesus!!! Last night I was a a country rock concert called "WeFest
" I have never been to this event and it's been in my back yard, (so to speak) for years. I'm turning 60 next year and I have this deep desire to get out of my comfort zone and see what I can see, do what I can do. So, when the opportunity came up to experience “We Fest”, I went for it. During the concert an artist said, "any body out there love Jesus?" I immediately raised my hands and shouted yes!" I was walking in the front of a crowd at the time and for a moment I almost hesitated, about proclaiming my devotion to our Lord. But Wow! does it feel good to publicly, boldly proclaim devotion to Jesus!! Lately I have been in a bit of a funk, but this morning I have a rejuvenated heart felt joy energy!! I am confident it's because I boldly proclaimed My love for Jesus. Today, be inspired to boast boldly in our Lord!!πππ¦ πΈ❤️you will be filled with kindness, justice and righteousness through the powerful gift of Jesus!!

Hope floats!
Romans 8:18 "I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.......8:25 But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently." Hope for today, Hope for tomorrow, Hope in all thingsπ. Lately I've let myself get "tired". I don't take enough time to sleep and get " Down time". My thing is, I don't want to miss a thing! I tend not to recognize my own "tired". But what I know, is in this state I focus more on what's wrong and not as much on Hope. It is a Humane condition, only conquered by the powerful gift of Jesus. Today, may we all simply walk in Hopeπππ¦ πΈ❤️
